Newborn cd nap question

So my little guy has his most fussy period in the morning til about 1-130 then he goes down for a nap and he NAPS. My midwife said it's ok for babe to go up to 6 h but only once in a 24 h period so we let him sleep as long as he wants within that. My question is what should I do for cd? The last couple days he's been in a thirsties fitted with cover but should I add something else to wick moisture away more? I don't want him getting a rash. I do put cjs on as a barrier but I'm still kinda worried about a rash. Any thoughts? Thanks ladies

Don't fix what's not broken. But get some fleece liners.
