QOTW- If you could speak any language fluently, but never speak your native tongue again, what language would you choose? Why?

How are you doing? Did you all enjoy the holiday weekend? I started my holiday weekend early last Tuesday night!  My mother flew in and we went on a mini vacation. It's only 45 mins from our apartment, but we stayed in a hotel on the beach and came back Friday afternoon.  It was so relaxing!  Poor PJ got sick though and had fever and allergies all weekend.  She's better now, she just needed Mommy cuddles to feel better again.

Milestones? Nothing really new this week.  She did start pointing to her tummy, her nose, and her hair consistently.

Challenges? Sleep!  I don't know why she thinks bedtime is torture!  We just can't get her to calm down before bed.  She flops around on the bed, tries to grab the dog, climbs on top of the pillows so that she's sitting up high, starts yelping loudly just to hear herself yelp.  DH always called it her final burn, but it's no longer funny.  I had to pull out my No Cry Sleep Solution book last night after she finally fell asleep at 9:15.  I'm going to work on a plan this week and report back.  Wish me luck!

Funny/ Cute Stories? I can't really think of anything especially since I had 2 nights away from her this past week.  When I came back, everything she did was funny and cute.  Oh last night, I did start singing the Daniel Tiger theme sound, and she was looking around trying to find the show playing behind me.

QOTW- If you could speak any language fluently, but never speak your native tongue again, what language would you choose? Why? I think I would say Spanish because people always expect me to know it anyway because of my Hispanic background.  I don't speak it at all and that always baffles people.
