Baby Kicks that make Popping sounds

Last night, my husband and I heard three popping/cracking noises when my baby was kicking. Anybody know what this is from? Thanks for your help!

Don't know what it's from, but my boys do it too. I don't really worry about it.

My ribs pop in and out of place with kicks, if it was in that area.  I've heard other women say that about kicks in general, though.

I've heard these noises when my baby kicks as well, like the sound of joints popping, like when you crack your knuckles. The only thing I can figure is that they're bubbles in the amniotic fluid popping.

Asked my Doc about and she confirmed they occurred but there was nothing written about or confirmed what they are.

I hear them, too. I know it's my ribs, because the sound only happens when he kicks them.

It's not for certain, but my midwife said that as best anyone knows, it's the two layers of the amniotic sac building up tension and then snapping past each other, if that makes sense. It's normal though.
