Fetal movements

I think i am just paranoid, but it seems like that I can feel Baby A (on my right side) wayyyy more than Baby B most days. Did anyone else feel this way?

I feel them differently. I think it's partly a matter of placental placement, partly personality. I feel Baby A wiggle more often... Especially when I lay down to go to sleep. Baby B sits calmly in waiting and then I get the real zingers from her. She's a strong one!
  • Mine are bunk bed style and I can feel A more than B, unless I'm really paying attention. A is very low so I can feel him kicking my bladder and anything else he can contact. However, I think I may confuse some of B's movement for being A's because during ultrasounds B is always my active one. Unless B's movement is above my belly button I'm not positive which one is moving. Could your B be moving the most in the middle of your belly as opposed to the left side?

  • Also, ditto PP on the placenta placement. I feel very little movement on the side where A's placenta is and when I do it's probably B headbutting me.

Yup, always felt baby B WAY more than baby A.  They were head down, side by side the whole time.

Yes for me too! I can feel A kicking and punching way more but B is my roly poly. Their movements are way different.

ETA: I have two APs and they are high up, which I think is why I don't feel B more than I do - that and he was posterior at my last scan. Do you know where your placentas are?

  • I think I feel Baby A way more. He's on the left and head down, so I know where his feet are. Baby B's feet are more in the middle of me, so I do feel her, but it's different. I think she moves more, but maybe doesn't kick as much.

I don't have any answers to your op, but this just made me realize that I'm about to feel some crazy stuff here in a few months! I *think* I'm excited, as it was crazy with just my DS wiggling around in there! (Sorry to hijack your post, but it got me thinking!!)

  • I feel them both, I would say they are equally active but sometimes it's hard to tell them apart. Baby A is sitting in an L across my cervix with her head up on my right side. Baby b is laying head down diagonally across my belly with his feet at baby a's head and his head at her feet.

@beachy6 it is pretty awesome when you first start feeling it and then.... well then you start swearing a little as you almost drop what you have in your hand as both of them decide it is time to do the twist or practicing their drop kicks!
  • Thanks everyone for your input! Twin pregnancies are so crazy!

I feel baby B more. Baby A is so low in my pelvis I don't think they can even move much... That one has been sitting breech and transverse pretty much since they got big enough to have their own "zones".

Baby B moves around a lot. A month ago they were high and on my left and breech, then head down and just to the left of centre (we saw A actually headbutt B on the ultrasound) and now they are lying transverse right above A. I think B is following my partner's voice because she reads to them at night and has changed positions to
My right side now that I am on bedrest.

I can feel B a few inches to the left of and just below my belly button though... There is consistently always some part of them around there to tap me after we eat something sweet :)
