Re: **2IF Grad Check-In**

  • 1. 19 weeks
    2. We had the anatomy scan yesterday and everything looked great!! What a relief. Next OB appt is in a few weeks.
    3. Overall feel good, still get tired easily and I don't know what I did last night, but I woke up with my neck aching - it has been bothering me all morning!
    4. I try to eat small, balanced meals of course but I love indulging in ice cream or other desserts! I always eat a snack like a bowl of oatmeal right before bedtime too.

@jeffreysmom24, awesome check in as always :) Are you team green?

    1. 19.5 weeks.

    2. Anatomy scan June 4th. Anxiously counting down the days.

    3. Feeling baby move a lot more which is reassuring. Still having random nausea but it's not too bad.

    4. Not really. I have been into watermelon this week, but my cravings seem to change day to day. When I'm nauseous carbs work the best for me, goldfish or plain pasta with a sprinkle of parm cheese.

Hey! We are team blue!! Actually found out several weeks ago bc I took the maternity21 blood test! We picked the name too - Jacob Patrick!
  • Hi Everyone!

    1.  How many weeks along are you? 10w3d

    2.  Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? Had my first ob appointment today. Had an u/s.  Baby is starting to look like a baby! Measuring a day ahead at 10w4d.  She said everything looked good. She pointed out a hand and the jaw. I go back in two weeks.  RE update: Blood work looks great and I will stop PIO on Saturday and the estridol and endometrin on Monday!!!!

    3.  How are you feeling lately? Headaches are getting worse.  And same ol fatigue

    4.  QOTW: what foods have you been enjoying eating so far during this pregnancy? Anything that you have been eating alot of? For those dealing with nausea, what have you been able to tolerate?  I have been eating the grease. Nachos, burgers (BUT I am finally sick of burgers. If I see another one I will barf), fries and Mexican food.  I am slowly able to eat salads now.  The thought of that previously made me want to barf.  So hopefully healthier eating is on the horizon.

    2. Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)?  OB appointment and anatomy scan this afternoon!  I'm completely worthless at work today.  It was a bad decision to schedule my anatomy scan in the afternoon.

    3. How are you feeling lately?  Good!  I've been waking up the past few mornings with upper back pain though, so I think I'm sleeping wrong.  I think it's time for DH to get used to sleeping in a bed with my giant pregnancy pillow again.

    4. QOTW: what foods have you been enjoying eating so far during this pregnancy? Anything that you have been eating alot of? For those dealing with nausea, what have you been able to tolerate?   I've been eating a pretty varied diet really.  No particularly strong cravings or aversions.  In the beginning I ate fruits and veggies all the time; it just sounded good to me.  Now junk food is creeping back in.  Or barging back in rather, so I need to check myself.  My weigh-in at the OB today will probably help me find my way back to healthier eating.

    August 2015 - DD (3)  <3
    April 2018 - 5 week loss o:)

  • 1. 15w3d 2. No real medical updates, ultrasound next Wednesday! 3. My back is getting better but i know I'm getting big fast. Can feel my uterus at my belly button already :/ my hips and muscles are starting to get sore from the stretching and I can already feel baby b move! Not surprising because every ultrasound I have always goes like this "and here is baby b...wow....that's a really active baby! I don't know if I've ever seen a baby move that much before." This kid looks like its on drugs in there! 4. Burgers and fries!

    1.  How many weeks along are you? 11w3d

    2.  Any medical updates (appointments, ultrasounds, tests/results, etc.)? nope, my first OB appt on Friday. I am excited (and anxious) to hear and hopefully see the heartbeats again. Oh and no more PIO!!

    3.  How are you feeling lately? Finally starting to feel better. The nausea has backed way down, and I don't feel that overwhelming exhaustion right now (of course my IF brain is going crazy thinking something is wrong)

    4.  QOTW: what foods have you been enjoying eating so far during this pregnancy? Anything that you have been eating alot of? For those dealing with nausea, what have you been able to tolerate? Even tho the nausea is going away, nothing really sounds good. Once I start eating, I only get a few bites in before I don't feel good again. I think the thing I have eaten the most is pb&j, which would never be my first choice before.
