@katekat8721‌ @jmar2011‌ and @ugabamafans‌ thanks! I am trying so hard to be calm and not panic. I am going in again tomorrow morning and Thursday morning. I'm not yet 36 weeks, so while I'm excited to meet LO, I would definitely like to keep her cooking at least another couple of weeks!

I had my 38/39 week apt today (I'll be 39 weeks Thursday). Not dilated at all, her head is lower than my cervix so it hurts so bad when she checks me! Today she told me my pelvic bone is more like a pear shape then a circle. Has anyone else had this issue or heard of it? She said it could be hard for the babies head to pass through. She also said that since she doesn't think I will be having a big baby I could be ok but we will see.

The doc (the on call, not mine) came in and did the fluid check again. LO moved and the doc got a much higher number. Then I went to the NST. LO didn't move much. relax, that's the first thing that needs to happen. I know it's scary. A few weeks ago, I think I was 33 weeks, I was randomly checked internally and found I was dilated and contracting and had now idea. They hooked me up to the monitors too and admitted me to the hospital where I was hooked up to the monitors and iv for a few hours. It was terrifying. The fact that your OB sent you home is a good thing. If there was something seriously wrong they would have kept you, or at least admitted you to do further testing. Use the modified bed rest as an excuse just to relax, read a book, shop online for baby stuff, or have a netflix marathon. Stay hydrated and relax. Let us know how your appointment goes in the morning. : ) thoughts and prayers.

I had my appt a couple hours ago. They pushed back my GBS test and first cervical check to next week, so instead I got the fun diagnoses of hypoglycemia and carpal tunnel. Yay.

38w5d, soft cervix but not really dilated. Declined checks until today because I feel they are essentially pointless unless you're in labor.  I decided to do it today only because my OB wanted me to although a midwife is who checked me.

My appointment was cancelled and rescheduled to tomorrow. I had failed 2 kick count attempts earlier in the day so I was quiet upset about the cancelation. I decided to give it one last go when I got home before heading to L&D and LO wiggled around after some milk and cookies and hasn't slowed down since dinner.

I agree with JennyD. They would keep you if they thought something was wrong. Take it easy and drink lots of fluids. It's scary going to L&D early, I'm thinking of you and hoping for an uneventful month until your due date.

@jennyd321‌ @babygabe614‌ and @Dharmatron‌ thanks! I am much calmer now. Actually being at home and not in the hospital helped with that and DH is going with me tomorrow which also made me feel mored relaxed. And yeah, my doctor wouldn't have sent me home if it were that serious.

@Temurlang1‌ no advice except like others said try not to worry. Worrying won't help anything but getting yourself worked up (I know way easier said than done, right!) I'll keep you in my prayers tonight keep us updated!

35+5 today. I'm now seeing the dr weekly soft cervix and a fingertip dilated. Doc said she doubts I will make it to my RCS because this one seems to want out, but I should cross my legs for at least a week n a half. She joked that our next appointment might be held in LnD noooo. I only have 3 more days of work! And I work on my feet! Must make it to my baby shower! Mom just paid a hefty payment to the restuarant. On a happier note I'm def looking forward to an ultrasound on my next visit!

It was...uneventful.

Sono lasted all of 3 minutes. NST was a major pain that per usual took too long. I had my strep test and thankfully my doctor doesn't ever check me (as that sounds painful and sucky at worst, uncomfortable at best.)

So glad to hear that you are less stressed and that your DH is being supportive and going to your appointment with you how did it go if you had it all ready today?

@jennyd321‌ well, as you might have seen, not that well. My fluid measured really low today and they admitted me. I have since been released and am very glad to be home resting. Hopefully I can make it till at least next week. They will be monitoring me daily.
