Dirty rotten contractions

How many of you had contractions that took forever to pick up or that never did before they faded out?

For about 3 hours I've had contractions between 5-8 mins. Not quite enough to go to the hospital. But enougt to not go to work and keep DH home. And I'm convinced after a while they'll probably subside and I'll have to face work and all the coworker comments tomorrow. I need to walk all day long. Come on contractions!

Mine were 5-7 minutes apart. I laid down for a nap and they stopped. DH and I started walking again (had been at a market) around the neighborhood. They picked up to every 2-3 minutes. I also walked the halls when I was admitted at a 3 (also had a high leak). Two hours later I was at an 8.

My ob office also said make it a brisk walk!!!

Mine spend 5-7 hours a day being 20 minutes apart and get stronger during that time. And then all of a sudden, they completely stop. It's really frustrating and exhausting.

with both my kids I'd get them that way for 2 weeks before birth. it's confusing!! this time I only seem to get them at night & they stop so it's so frustrating. feels like I will never have the baby!!!
