We had a great weekend at Sesame Place! Got there around 1 pm on Saturday afternoon, and LO started freaking out as soon as he saw all the characters on the signs in the parking lot. We had to drag him into the park and he loved it.

Highlights:
*We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott down the street. I was hoping it was close enough to walk, and it might have been, if there had been sidewalks! But it was very close, we drove and paid for parking which wasn't terrible (on Sunday we left around 1:30 for naptime and came back later for a few more hours), and the hotel was so fresh and clean and our package included breakfast so that was nice.
*Character meals! Those are totally worth the money. We did Big Bird's Backyard BBQ for dinner and Breakfast with Elmo. Got lots of time to take pictures with all the favorite characters and the food was not bad (I particularly liked the BBQ). If you're there for breakfast, you're there right when the park opens at 10, which gives you a headstart on rides- we walked onto a few rides right in that first half-hour or so.
*Count's Splash Castle! It just opened and LO was fascinated by the dumping bucket of water. The water was freezing but thankfully DH was on duty so they were splashing around there together.
*The parade. Try to get there at least 20-30 minutes early so you can have a "front-row" spot; somewhere a little past the front gate would probably be good so you can see it right as it starts; we were near the end both times we went and had to wait a bit.
*The shows were cute; DH thought they were kind of stupid but they weren't for him, duh. I particularly liked "Elmo The Musical", which is inside in lovely AC
