ready for solids?

We were going to wait until 6 months, and Anya is 5 months 1 week, but whenever we eat she makes a chewing motion like she is eating too.  Is that a sign she is ready?

That's a sign. Amelia does the same thing. We were given the green light, from her speech therapist to try small amounts of food. I crushed a little avacado for her and she loves it!
