Memorial Day spam

Went grocery shopping this morning with DD while DH was playing in a memorial day tribute concert. She was pretty well behaved and kept saying hi to everyone in the store. Now she is playing in her water table on the patio while I bump. Hopefully when she naps I can get the kitchen cleaned up and some projects graded. Only 4 more school days left til summer and 3 of those are half days for finals! Woo!

It keeps raining on and off here so DS and I are having an 80's dance party.  The DJ just said "Coming up: Genesis, Belinda Carlisle & Men at Work."  My little 80's heart just can't take it!  :-)

Not sure why I chose to go out at noon when it's 95 outside but we lived.

Now DH and I are working around the house til my sis comes over for a BBQ dinner! Can't wait for steak and potatoes!

H got a surprise day off, so we did some yard work, worked on the hot tub, now waiting for E to wake up so we can go on a walk. I'm being a mean mom today and trying to force bottles since I go back to work Wednesday. It's not going well.

Packing and washing clothes. The hotel we stayed in didn't smell bad when we were in there but when i went to go re-pack the clean clothes they smell super smoky. So more laundry to wash for no reason! Ugh!

Ok well last time our sitter didnt answer my texts/call, it turned out she got into a fender bender and her phone was broken.

I felt awful and decided to give it another go. Im trying to be a little more patient about the fact that I texted her 2 hours ago with no reply, again. Im thinking I'll give her until tomorrow, and if still no answer, we may need to start looking for yet, another sitter. She's seemingly becoming less and less available lately, which is frustrating.

Birthday french toast was fucking delicious. My mom bought me some new work out clothes, that are more summer appropriate, so that was awesome. I think the H and I are going out for shawarma tonight and my parents are going to run herd on the tiny terror.

We have had that all week. Fortunately every time we get it, it seems milder than the last round. I think this is round 4 of stomach bug in the last 10 months.

Wtf. I could cry right now. This is the 3rd sitter we've had. The first 2 could no longer sit for us due to surgery/medicAl issues. Now this is the 3rd one and she's starting to flake and not answer when I need her. I'm fucking done.

Anyone want two pretty much brand new pairs of skinny jeans? I was going to take them to plato's closet but it's pretty far and ups is closer. I think they're size 6 or 7 and they're just big enough that my crack shows at all times

My neighbors have family visiting, and they have twin 20 month old girls. My ute is slamming shut. I forget, sometimes, how little my kid cries compared to other small children.

Same here. LO was pretty much the easiest baby ever so I'm gunna get payback when he's a teenager or with another LO.
