Help me spend $ - AIO's!

Ladies,

I have been on cloth hiatus.  Quit CD'ing my 2.5 year old when my son was born about 6 months ago.  Just couldn't deal with the laundry and the newborn.  Like an idiot, I SOLD my beautiful stash b/c I thought it would stress me out to CD 2 kids.  Now I am desperate to CD again--I miss it so much! 

This time around, I'd like to stick to AIO's. Don't have the patience anymore for pockets and want it to be as easy on DH as possible...he already thinks I'm crazy for going back to cloth! Previously I had 1 BG Freetime, 1 BG Elementals (old), and several Tots Bots. Liked them each for different reasons.  But things have changed since I first bought those diapers 3 years ago...looks like BGEs and Tots Bots have changed, and there's more of a selection for AIOs.

So.....what's the best AIO out there as far as lasting through toddlerhood?  Want to be able to add absorbancy when my son gets older. 

And where to get the best prices on these suckers?

Blueberry Simplex are by far my favorite. Trim, absorbent, cute prints, easy to add absorbency, and for my tall LO my favorite feature is the tall rise.

I don't think you can go wrong with a good mix of BGEs, Freetimes, and Tots Bots either though.

Did you try Best Bottoms on your older child? IMO they have the best features of a pocket and an AIO. The inserts snap in instead of stuff in a pocket. You can get stay dry or cotton hemp blend. They cover is exposed PUL so you can wipe it clean and reuse unless a lot of poop gets on it. I highly recommend trying one with a handful of inserts for the diaper bag if you haven't tried them.

We do BG Elementals exclusively. It's primarily the old style. But we also have the new style.

The pro to the new style is that you can add absorbency easily. Right now my nighttime diaper is the new style BGE with a day time flip insert stuffed under the flap. (Something you couldn't do with the old style!)

The other difference are: they are cut wider, have exposed PUL, and generally just fit larger. But while being larger they are trim and ds has less of a fluffy butt in them.

Even though I'm an AIO lover. If I were to add more I'd get some flip organic inserts and lots of covers. They'd work just about the same as the aio but clean easier and dry even faster! Plus be cheaper!

Honestly, the reason I'm resisting something like Best Bottoms or Flips with inserts is because of the time it takes to stuff or snap.  I know it sounds silly, but I already have a hard time staying on top of laundry, and have other things I want to do with my time. I know it sounds lazy.

Any leads on the best prices for Tots Bots, Elementals and Simplex??

They can be hard to find deals on. Tots bots in particular are about to roll out with a new version so right now they're hard to find retail, let alone on sale. Bg diapers you can get places like diapers.com when they have a coupon code. Blueberries also don't go on sale that often.

Blueberry will do seconds sales sometimes. Maybe check the BST groups? I know I got a deal on my NB simplex, and they're still in great condition.

I'm super lazy with laundry. Like whoa. But I find best bottoms laundry much easier. I just lay all the inserts flat in a drawer straight out of the dryer. The covers hang dry on a hat rack in the laundry room then get shoved in a drawer. No folding, no stuffing, easy peasy.

Apparently BBB and BRU have started carrying BG in certain stores. They are constantly sending me 20% off coupons, so that could be a good way to stock up.

Some online retailers will have 10-15% off sales on holidays, so this weekend and maybe 4th of July would be good times to check.

And definitely watch for Blueberry seconds sales. They go fast, but are usually tiny imperfections.

I love the new BGEs. I have 14 of those and 7 freetimes, and I totally want to make that all BGE. I have a couple simplexes, too, and they're ok, but BGEs are waaay softer and bigger.

I just noticed diaper junction had a ton of blueberry stuff on sale, but it's just a dollar or two off each.
