Cloth Diapering

Sewing question

I think we're going to be buying some patio furniture off of CL today!  Woot Woot!  I've seriously been looking for a set that wasn't hideous AND within our price range for a year.  Anyway, I want to recover the cushions.  Can I just make basically a fitted sheet to cover the bottom ones rather than sewing up the whole thing and installing a zipper?  That should work fine, right?  They're at least 4" deep so I think they'll keep their shape even under the pressure of the elastic.

Re: Sewing question

  • I don't see why it wouldn't work... You could also use buttons if you wanted a full cover, but didn't want to deal with a zipper.
