baby monitor?

Im just getting to do some research on baby monitors, and I found this Owlet baby monitor https://www.owletcare.com/ which I think is pretty cool if you ask me. but would you prefer something like a video monitor, or be able to check from your devide (apps)  there are so many baby monitors out there... this is really overwhelming

Well...I still find our video monitor useful and DD is 2. Now I check if she's asleep or quietly awake at nap time. Or if she's really close to the edge of the bed and might fall off. So you might end up wanting a more traditional monitor anyway.

We never had an angelcare or a snuzza, but if you're the type to take comfort in those sorts of things, then this is an interesting product to consider.

  • We were planning on just getting an audio monitor but then two of my friends chipped in and bought us a video monitor. We are so thankful. We still use it and DD is 16 months. She talks in her sleep so it is nice to use it to see if she is really awake or not. It also helps us if she is crying in the middle of the night to know if we need to go in or if she is ok.
It was essential when she was a baby. I couldn't have moved her into her bedroom without it. We bought an extra camera for it and will use it for both kids when DS gets here.
