Foam Blocks + Washing

How do you wash your kid's foam blocks?  Ours puts them in his mouth and our dog just mudded on them - do you use a bleach bath?  Can they even be cleaned?

I surface wash with hot water and soap and then air dry them on one of those mesh sweater dryer racks for a couple days.
