Our nursery is being split into two spaces. My husband works from home so he needs and office and we only have two rooms so his office is being turned into a "multi-purpose" room. Half of it will be Kennedy's space, will have her dresser, the glider and changing station. Her crib is in our room and is all set up and ready to go. The only decorating we have gotten around to is one wall in the multi-purpose room, we are getting the rest of furniture for her room this weekend (and seeing as though I only have around 2 weeks left, its about time!)
Its hard to tell in the pic, but the stripe is a pale lavender; were doing all grey, lavender and white.
So far the only thing I have finished (I think!) is our changing table/dresser. The dresser is vintage and DH sanded and stained it to match our crib. I kinda love it!
I mostly lurk, but here is a pic of our girl's nursery/guest room. I'm going to rearrange the stuff on the walls cause I'm not happy with how it all looks.
Everyone's nurseries look so great! We have some lucky babies!!
Everyone's nurseries look amazing!!! I'm so jealous!
Since I'm not allowed to start mine yet, I wanted to drool over all of yours.
I come from a long line of superstitious family members and I'm not even allowed one inkling of baby anything in my house. Everything bought already is being kept at another's house and won't be brought over until after birth. The furniture isn't being delivered until after the babies are born as well.
Ho hum...
OMG so jelly of all of you ladies who have dedicated nurseries!! We're rooming in with our WeeNut, which is a mixed blessing. I love knowing she'll be close, but hate not having a large space to decorate for her. Or, ya know, a place to put a glider. LOL!! I'm gonna cram one in to our bedroom SOMEHOW!!!
This is all I've really gotten done so far; crib assembled and bedding washed and put on it. Changing table also assembled (need a changing pad). Had my shower this weekend, so I got a few more little things to add (including some wall decorations), but waiting for my paint to finish curing before I start putting stuff on the walls.
Here's her crib and her "wall" with NOTHING on it yet. Looks so sad.
We went with the "Nala" themed bedding from The Lion King once we found out we were having a girl. I got a Lion King hamper and lamp this weekend at my shower that need homes in our room. Slowly but surely, I'll get this darn thing DONE!!
Ignore the miss-matched dresser. It's not for the baby; that's the adult's dresser. LOL!!

This baby will be hanging out in our room next to our bed. I tried to set up the crib side carred, but the mattress levels are off by a few inches and I wasn't quite comfortable with that for a newborn. So for now, we have a crib and a changing table. The bottom bins have all the clothes and diapers (cloth).
My husband ordered a mobile as a gift a couple months ago and it finally came!! So excited and had to share. It's an "Up" mobile. Nursery is almost done.
@jmathi0149 love the color scheme. We will also be welcoming a Preston into the world. my husband wants to call him "Prez." My bf had guests at my shower think of additional P nicknames to help me out lol
@raquelynn714 thank you and congratulations! I refuse to let him have a nickname. I strictly want him to be called Preston. His middle name will be James After my husband so people have tried to call him PJ but I quickly shot that down. H does call him "P-Diddy" the majority of the time which is actually kind of cute. Let me know what you come up with!
Here's ours! We went for a black and white geometric theme. We still need a curtain rod and some sheers (probably black curtains on the ends eventually because of that morning sun on the crib!) a side table to go on the left side of the rocker, and some shelves for the wall for books and a couple framed prints. This is pretty much all IKEA. I should probably get them to pay me for the advertisement that my home is for them LOL
Somehow my nursery is still a work in progress (thanks Pottery Barn back orders), but we got started on the nursery at grandma's today and I think it's coming together pretty well!
I'm being featured in a new pregnancy/motherhood blog during the month of October, so if you ever wanted to know more about my pregnancy, birth, and motherhood experiences than anyone ever should, check out my posts in the link below!
We finally finished the nursery. We will probably add her name over the crib once she's born (we aren't sharing the name beforehand). 2 weeks until due date! We should probably pack a hospital bag...
Yikes. Two weeks and six days and we still need to paint the nursery, the dresser, and set up the crib. Hope to do that this weekend. We are doing a vintage "planes, trains, and automobiles" theme. Have all the pieces, just need to do the work! I should also get moving on getting a hospital bag put together. So much to do... Will post a pic after this wknd.
We're DONE! Every large and small detail, so really kiddo- you can come out now. Tomorrow's your due date, be timely, look what a cute room you have (until your brother attacks it)

I found an awesome white book shelf at Target this weekend....they come in 3 and 5 shelf sized...very reasonably priced!
Great! I'll check it out today. Thank you!
That and painted walls are all we've done.
And yes, the 'helpers' in the closet will belong to the baby as well.
