Rash!

Alright...what did I do to my diapers! I haven't had any issue what so ever with my wash routine or rashes until today. I got a bunch of used diapers last night and threw them in the wash with my dirty diapers. Probably 10 covers, 4 pockets and 10 flats. Since they were used diapers, I did everything on hot this time. Hot rinse, then I used bleach for the first time ever...two small capfuls in the bleach tray with the usual Tide to the first line, washed and rinsed on hot. Then I did two extra hot rinses on top of that to make sure the bleach was out. There were no bubbles or smell whatsoever, but I wanted to make sure they were clean.

So I took a pocket out we've used before and about 2 hours later this is what my LOs privates and bum look like...everywhere the diaper was touching. I'm nervous to put another one on her! Could it be from the bleach? Everything looks and smells clean! I'm not sure how to fix it!

No it's not much, buts it's red splotchy all over under where her diaper was. I slathered in CJs and let her hang out diaper free a while and put another one on. I'm hoping it doesn't get worse.

Do your rinses agitate? I always do extra hot washes after bleaching to get it all out.

No agitator, It's an old FL washer. I can't tell which flats were in that load and all but 2 of my pockets were in there. If it doesn't look any better I'll just throw them all back in and wash the crap out of them (hehe) since it doesn't sound like I did anything wrong with that wash? I'm nervous there was something on those used diapers that got in my wash and is irritating her.
