Every day because she loves it and it chills her the fuck out for a precious half hour during her witching hours. Works like magic.
    This exactly.

  • Was every alternate day until she was 4 weeks but now it is everyday. She enjoys it.

DS likes the bath, hates getting out of the bath. Completely negates any calmness he experienced from said bath.
    He's had 3 since he's been home....

This. DD screams for an hour after. So my plan of every other day turned into every 3 days.

  • Right now we're still at every third day but the heat down here is gonna cause us to end up doing every day
  • Kendra, I call LO smelly Ellie also!

I voted every other day, but it's really just whenever she needs it or whenever I feel like it. She doesn't mind the bath. She doesn't love it, but she usually doesn't hate it. She does hate getting out and being cold though

  • We bathe everyday but not always with soap. Sometimes he likes to chill in the warm water so we have incorporated it into our nighttime routine.
  • Roughly twice a week I bring her in the shower or tub with me. She hates solo baths. In between I wipe her down with a warm wet washcloth or baby wipes as needed.
  • Everyday. She absolutely loves it so it's a major part of bedtime routine. Plus it's daddy's specialty.
  • Once a week maybe?  Baths have been a pretty stressful experience so far, for me and her.  I clean her face, neck, hands and nether regions daily, though.
  • Every day. She turns into the most relaxed cuddle bear ever after her bath.

  • DS hates a bath.. Loves to shower on DH, and DH loves that time with him so he gets one almost every night before bed.

  • 1-2 times a week but I bathed her yesterday and today because she had massive blow outs. I try not to bathe too much because I know it will dry out her skin.
  • We do every other night, mostly because she loves it. My DS hated baths so he was more like twice a week.

  • Once a week-ish. I would like to see this poll broken down by number of kids. I just don't have time for daily baths but did them with my first!

This exactly.  I pop her in and she calms down and sleeps better than when she doesn't get one.

Haha, we used to give my toddler one every night, he's lucky to get one every other day now...he's getting stinky.

  • Once a week-ish as well. Less is better was advised by doctor, to keep from drying out and irritating his skin. I do use the Mustella no rinse cleanser with gauze pads in between. He LOVES being bathed though, he gets super calm.
  • For those that shower with their babies, how exactly does that work? It sounds nice but I would be scared of a slippery baby in the shower. Do you set them in a tub on the floor?

DH hold him in football hold or tight to hi chest. DS loves the warm water on him so he doesn't squirm around at all.

I have 4 kids, but the 3 older ones shower by themselves, so I just have to bathe the little one every night.

I set her in her baby tub outside the shower in just a diaper and wrapped in a towel. I get in, wash myself, then take off her diaper and bring her in. I wash her front, rinse, turn her over, wash her back, rinse, and usually she is enjoying it so much that I stay in and rock her under the water for a few more minutes. She is slippery when she's wet but I haven't had trouble hanging on to her as long as I don't change positions when she is also soapy.
  • About once a week... unless he pees on his head, then he gets a bath right then haha. He haaates baths though.

My LO screams bloody murder when we bathe him. I feel like I'm torturing him! I hope this changes or else bathtime will be dreaded by all.
  • Unfortunately DD got casts for her club feet as soon as her cord stump fell out, so we are still sponge bathing until she gets her casts off.

Once a week, sooner if he stinks. Gave him one a couple days ago cause he smelled like puke even though I probably would have done it this weekend otherwise. He doesn't mind being in the bath (though I wouldn't say he loves it, just doesn't mind it) but to get undressed to go in the water brings out the screams and taking him out gets him screaming too, no matter how quickly I get him in the towel.

  • I aim for 1-2 times a week, but I might start doing it more often since she's starting to love them! She only seems to get pissed when I start dressing her afterwards, that little nudist!

  • Everyday, he loves the water (also gives me half hour of no crying) sometimes he baths with me or with ds1 or all 3 of us, fun!
  • I'm so jealous of those with babies that love bath time!
