Toddlers are disgusting

I love this stage where they are learning new things and absorbing everything around them but holy moly toddlers are disgusting. They are always, sticky or dirty or snotty or eating their boogers. Sometimes when I'm not paying attention, DD will also eat DS boogers. :-& The list goes on....why do they have to be so gross lol.

Too funny, Jeffrey's first word (after mama and dada) was dirty! I never realized before then how often I say that word to him!

Summer + being a toddler = daily baths for DD.

We usually bathe twice to three times a week, but I've had to up my game!  Although with the pool opening this weekend, we may just substitute the pool for bathing.

That's fine, right?

Yeah, DD ate a dog treat the other day.  She is fully aware that it's a dog treat, since she loves to give treats to our dogs.  I'm now glad that we buy the expensive all-natural dog treats

B likes to make messes and then pick them up. Her high chair tray must be cleared of anything she's done with or it goes on the floor (out of sight = clean I guess because the floor certainly isn't). She's likes to take all the tissues from the Kleenex box and wipe all the surfaces. I need to buy stock in Kleenex...

The gross things she does are mostly on accident. Like going to pet SILs dog on the bottom and pretty much putting her fingers in his butthole. Good thing she likes washing hands!
