I just can't picture it

On a local cd swap page a mom was asking for ideas for cd brands for her 31 pound 10 month old.  I just can't picture a baby that size.  I mean that's almost twice as heavy as ds2 and ds1 didn't hit 30 pounds until he was almost 3.  I don't remember how old dd was when she hit 30 pounds.

LOL, yeah, I am pretty sure that my almost 3 year old neice is not 30 lbs.

My 2.5 year old is a skinny 30lbs. My 6 month old is 21.4lbs and chunky! I can't imagine another 10 on him!

I may know a mom in a FB group who had a baby that size at that age...I think he was almost too big for the biggest size of sposies she said. She had to order the biggest size online because they don't even sell it in store.

Maybe trainers could work? She could use prefolds in the flip trainer.

My cousins baby was 23-25lb at 8 months.  I think he leveled out a bit now.  He was tall so it spread out a bit but he was still huge.  He was wearing 18 month clothing.  I think it was because she BF the first and they ended up giving formula at the hospital with the second so apparently she couldn't BF him afterwards for some reason.  And they didn't limit how much he ate.  I think he was 10 months before he could crawl and he still has trouble standing up for very long which makes walking a long way off.

I'm not sure what weight she is but my DD is pretty big for her age. She's ten almost eleven months and she's into 18 - 24 month clothes already and she's into the last size of sposies, one of the reasons we're switching to cloth. Hoping to find better absorbency/fit.

I can picture it only because my BFF has a son, who, at less than a year old is wearing 18 month clothing.

My 15 mo. old is 27 lbs & wears 3-4T. She's just really tall for her age. Her older sister is 37 lbs in a 5T at 2 1/2 years & skinny. People always think she's 5. I'm 5'10" & have a brother 6'7", so height runs in my family.

LLOL for that and the fact that some labels like Carters are sized for the 3 months prior. So those 9 month clothes could have actually been 6-9 month size. Or, you know, the 'right' size. She may have had one of those perfect babies that follow the clothing sizes exactly and didn't even appreciate it!

Cade's been wearing 24 month and 2T since October. I think he'll be in 3T by September. He's very tall for his age though, but still 30lbs at 16 months. Rosie on the other hand is 4-5 inches taller than him and 34lbs and in 4T at 3.5. I give it a year and Cade will have caught up or surpassed.

My nephew was 10 months and 27 pounds. He's taller than average, also. BF. The doctors are fine with it. He is slowing down and thinning out now, since he's crawling.

I figured the kid mentioned had to be on the upper end of the growth chart.....someone has to......I just can't picture it.

Jo has leveled out since walking. I think we will be in 6 to 9 months for awhile longer. Actually some of the pants are a little long still. Oh we'll.
