Things Just Got Real!

So, daycares are very difficult to get into in my area of the city (I work in Dallas). I was told by all my fellow working mommys that I needed to get my name on several lists as soon as the stick turned just to make sure we had an option after my 3 months of maternity leave ends.  (did I mention how ridiculous I sound when I am talking to these places on the phone and asking their availability for April 2015 haha).

Anyways, I just toured my first place during my lunch hour and if being pregnant didn't feel real before, it certainly does now!  Just wanted to send happy thoughts and vibes to all the other working mommies out there who may be starting their search for the perfect childcare for their new little one!

DC is the same way. I got mad at DH last night because we haven't put our names on a wait list. The idea of a 1 year wait list boggles my mind.

Yep, it was the same way for me. It was really stressful to find a spot at a daycare we liked.
