when to go in?

If you had a scheduled c/s and went into labor before hand, when did you head to l&d

Not me, but 2 of my friends went into labor before their scheduled date (both less than a week away) and their babies were delivered asap. I believe in both cases their waters broke.

I started having contractions last night and am scheduled for RCS tomorrow morning. My doctor said to come in if my water breaks or the contractions are 15 minutes apart. They have subsided almost entirely so I am relaxing at home right now.

Yea, I went in at 10 min and am only a cm so they sent me home. I'm kind if admitted since I'll be 39wks Saturday.

With my first I had a dr appointment at 36 weeks and mentioned I had a heck of a backache. She said I was in labor and sent me right to the hospital. With my second I waited until I was 4 minutes apart for an hour then I went in. Number 3 waited for my scheduled CS!

My water broke at home and my doctor told me to take my time but I headed right in since we had about a 40 minute drive and my contractions were strong and just a few minutes apart. If you start having contractions that are timeable or your water breaks call your OB and let them know. They will tell you what to do. 

We had our bags packed and everything ready before hand so I would just prep that stuff just in case you go early!

I think a lot of the answer depends on if you are still going to have the c-section or if you are going to attempt a vaginal birth.
