Question about FF

I just started using FF this month and have been fairly consistent with my temp times.  This morning, I woke up about 1 hr before my alarm, so I took my temp, entered it, went to the bathroom and back to sleep for another hour until my alarm went off.  Took my temp again and looked at my FF app.  On my chart there was an open circle for the first temp I entered, recording that as abnormal.  Then I changed it to the second one with a few tenth degrees difference and it was a filled in dot.  My question is, which temp should I use or does it matter?  I wonder only because I seem to be in the middle of my fertile window and don't want to mess anything up so I can confirm O, otherwise I would just leave it.

I would use your original temp but recognize that bc you noted the one hour earlier wake up time ff will use the open circle and it may take one extra day to give you cross hairs.  Most people find one hour of wake up time difference doesn't make much difference. Is this your 1st month charting temp / using ff?  Your coverline will be more than 2/10's of a difference so you should be fine no matter.  Best wishes for a +++ result in a few weeks!

Thanks for the help. I put the original one back in.This morning my BBT was back by the other dots so no rise yet, but for some reason it not connecting yesterday and today's temp with a line. Is this normal? It doesn't help that I can't for the life of me seem to turn a Wondfo positive. Ugh!

Hi there. I agree with PPs. I've been having insomnia so I've had to put in horribly different times like 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. I have open dots everywhere, but FF still seems able to track my cycle.

Hmmm...I actually just made mine a standard default time of 5:30.  I temp anywhere from 3 am - 6 am and my temps are always the same or very minimal change.  Maybe this is wrong but it's how I do it and I haven't O'd since temping on FF until this week with a trigger which makes me have to manually set my O date.
