Trigger shot side effects?

The site of the injection was sore for days and even had a little swelling and redness. I had to pee a lot and it eased when the show was out of my system. I was also on progesterone so the sore boobs, moodiness I think was more that not so much the HCG.

ETA: I tested out my trigger it was always gone within 7-8 dpo but this all depends on dosage, brand, and how quickly your body metabolizes it.

I always have redness at the injection site for a couple of days. No other noticeable side effects. I've never tested out but I didn't randomly POAS 7 days after one month and it was out.

I didn't have side effects until a few days after the shot. The most noticeable was very very sore boobs. It usually starts around 3 dpiui and continues until 6 dpiui for me.

Mostly just incredibly sore boobs.

I only had the metallic taste in my mouth, directly after the shot.  I don't think that I have had other symptoms, though the clomid and crinone always gave me side effects that any ovidrel effects may have been lost in the shuffle. Lol.

I had very sore boobs and was incredibly tired for a few days. Actually, I was more than tired, I was exhausted!! I could have slept all day but thankfully (or not because it would have continued if I got a BFP) it went away after the HCG was out of my system.

I never experienced side effects from my trigger. Any symptoms I had during the TWW I would assume were an effect of progesterone and not trigger.

I think that's probably sometimes the case. I had ultra sore boobs last cycle and I wasn't using progesterone support (but obviously my natural progesterone was high), which is why I feel confident saying that my symptoms were from the trigger shot.

This for me. And I am having difficulty sleeping, which could be due to the progesterone as well

I had zero side effects from the trigger w/ all my cycles.

This for me too.  Although my last two IUIs I was pretty crampy and bloated (there were a lot of follies in there!) and my RE did mention that could be amplified by the trigger.  I can't specifically attribute any symptoms to the trigger directly though.

Sore at the site... moodiness... cramps.....bloating...headaches...

can't wait to do it all over again in 2 days....

Thanks everyone. I've had a lot of the pregnancy symptoms, they didn't start until about 4dpi so I was just curious. Nausea, bloating, cramping and headaches. Today is 8dpi....This is my third time with the trigger and I had very minimal side effects before so I was really curious what everyone else has had. I'm not on progesterone or anything.
