Now what?

I'm waiting for AF, who is due Friday, and the cramps have started. But, these are weird. They are super painful (sick to my stomach strong) and its a pulling sensation. The only thing I can compare it to was when a cyst adhered to my abdominal wall. Except, these aren't localized like that. The only thing I can think of is an endometriosis flare up? But, I just had an ultrasound two weeks ago for the IUI. She said everything looked healthy. Surely it can't have gotten bad that fast? If they don't pass, I'll have to call the doctor in the morning.

    Oh no.  I'm sorry your having such bad cramps.  I would say to try a heating pad, but since you had an IUI, I guess that is out.  Hopefully you can get hold of the doctor early tomorrow morning.  FX its nothing more than bad cramps.

    I spent the evening on the heating pad, since I have a BFN anyway. This morning the cramps are gone. I have no idea what that was, but I'm just going to mention it to the nurse when I call on CD1.

    Sorry about the cramps and more so about the bfn...are you going to have beta or test again? just wait on af?

    I'm glad you're feeling better, but how frustrating!  I hope the nurse is able to shed some light on the situation.

    August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    Thanks, everybody.  I feel a few twinges today, but more localized around my ovaries and nothing that surprises and scares me.  It did hurt like the dickens when I sneezed earlier.  But, I'm mostly taking this as a sign that we're right to take some time off from the meds while moving on to IVF.

    @Kelly72 - My RE only does betas for an IUI if you have a positive hpt.  (Or, I assume, if AF doesn't show up eventually.  I have a regular cycle, so that's not really my issue.)  AF is due tomorrow, and I'm just waiting on her.  I might test again if she's late, but my breasts get really tender and swollen with the progesterone surge after ovulation and then 'deflate' before AF.  They were incredibly sore on Sunday and then nothing since a few sore moments Monday.  So, I'm not questioning the BFN.

    I know my body well.  (I knew I was pregnant in December, because the soreness persisted.  I knew when I started miscarrying, because the cramps felt different and my breasts weren't as tender.)  Its a blessing and a curse.  I like that I can usually tell what's going on.  But, it also tells me what I don't want to hear!  Though, I'd sure love to be proven wrong this week.

    When I was on clomid in January got painful cramps and doctor said it was the corpus lutem cyst due to the clomid. It produces progesterone until your body figures out if your pregnant. After my m/c took awhile for it to pop to get my period...thought I was gonna need meds. Maybe you are having a big one to from iui...just a thought. Sorry this month has been crappy for you:( ....

    I'm sorry :(

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
