I hate when I do that. We had an ARD (sped meeting) for my DD (she is not in school yet but will be served by the school district.) She will be getting speech services for a delay that is impacting her intelligibility pretty significantly, for her age. I knew all of that, and all of the details that I was going to hear. Still, it is hard to sit in that chair and have them outline exactly how your child is not able to do what others her age can do. Plus, we talked about a physiological problem she may have that could be related to this, and it is not a small deal. Won't know more about that until next month. I couldn't help it and cried, and it was worse bc it was at my work. I got it under control but everyone could tell, and every time someone asked what was wrong I got going again. Like I am now.
