This is my husband's and my first time TTC and I am SO overwhelmed trying to find a OB. I don't know anyone who can give me a referral and I'm starting to really stress out about finding a good doctor! HELP PLEASE!
Any of the OBs at St Jude Heritage are great. But, they are in Fullerton.
This! I worked there for 10 years and delivered with Dr Lin. She is fantastic! I am having her care for me during this pregnancy as well. I am making the 45 minute drive because I don't want anyone else. St jude was the best hospital to deliver at as well.
I like Dr. Donna Back and Dr. Christina O'Day with St. Joseph Hospital. Both let me take my time to labor, and wouldn't push any augmentation against my birth plan. St. Joseph's is a great hospital, and every mother's recovery room is private with room service for mother included.
I'm going with the Women's Center at St. Jude in Fullerton as well.
My Doctor (Dr. Su) actually has an office in Yorba Linda too. It's really nice, and I'm in/out of there really quick (free parking!). They also have their own lab so you can just go a few doors down to get your blood work done on the way out. I still have to go to the Fullerton office occasionally for ultrasounds, etc... But, so far so good!
Hey, So did you go to the St jude women center? They have seven OBs that rotate on call for delivery. I don't have my first appointment for another two weeks, but I was really worried about not knowing if ill have my doctor the day of. I was almost thinking about looking around. I know I want to deliver at St Jude and I like my doctor at their offices. I am just worried about getting another doctor.
My Doctor (Dr. Fee) is in North OC by the 55 and 91 and she is amazing. She had me in for an ultrasound at 7 weeks, an appointment at 8 weeks, and I felt like she had me off to a great start. I have other pregnant friends who ask me for advice because their doctors don't do half of what Dr. Fee does.
She's delivered my niece and nephew, and one of my friends' little ones. I've been seeing her for years and when it came time to pick an OB for my first baby I didn't even hesitate. She delivers at St. Joes.
Dr. Fee was my gynecologist and is great and very sweet. My husband and I are looking into midwifery but if we decide to use a doctor Dr. Fee is definitely the doc we will go to.
