Cloth Diapering

A newborn and a toddler in CD's

Hopefully this isn't a dumb question BUT

Is it ok if they get washed together? With two in diapers in november I would rather just do one load a day with both of their diapers.
Audrey is going to be a big sister!

  • I would only separate if necessary (ie one gets yeast or you're having an issue in one set of diapers but not the other).

    I wash them together.

Right now I'm doing them separate as a preventative. My son has an ear infection and is on antibiotics for the next week. He's had some extra soft BM lately. There's a possibility of him developing a yeast rash, so I've been keeping his separate.

Other than that, I've always just waged everything in one load.

  • I plan on washing together when #2 comes. There's still plenty of room in the washer with just DS's diapers right now. I'll just increase the water level and detergent.

This. I'm washing together, just a little more frequently.

  • I washed together last time and will again this time, unless one gets an infection.
