I was very sick first tri also, all day in fact. I also noticed that zofran didn't always help. My suggestion is to try adding in natural remedies...sea bands (didn't work for me but people swear by them)...ginger ale...search for threads and you will find a ton of natural ideas. I know it seems impossible but this too shall pass.
On the natural side, definetly try real ginger and cut off slivers and chew it in your mouth for a while then swallow. It is really strong, but it worked wonders for me. You can even make a tea out of it.
I'm on zofran and reglan during the day and then unisom at night. plus zantac. I am also sucking on peppermints all the time which helps with the water fountain I call my mouth and with smells. So long as I take the zofran and reglan *before* I feel nauseated, I'm usually in for hours of discomfort and feeling blah instead of hours of trying to turn my stomach inside out (whooo HG!).
Re: Stronger nausea meds?
Don't even mention constipation! It's ridiculous!!! My betas are high, so I'm not surprised I'm so ill!
I'm allergic to phenergan so that wasn't an option.
