Spay Tan

Has anyone done this? The fancy kind where someone physically sprays you? I really want my tan back, but even if I did also want skin cancer, I have no time to go to a tanning bed/booth. Considering the spray option. My crazy person additional questions are: will the solution rub off on my breast-feeding baby's head and turn him into an oompa loompa? Also, how bad is the smell? I have actually ruined a Christmas Eve in the recent past with an ill-timed perm (yes, yes, I know all perms past 1989 are ill-timed) and it was fairly traumatic. Appreciate any experiences!

No advice, just giggling at the thread title. Sorry.
Will your laughter turn to pity if I told you my glasses only have one lens? If I had my second lens, I would be typo free.

  • I've had it done a few times for weddings. I've not had it run off, but you could cover the boobs if you're worried about it. If you go to someone good they can even contour it so you can slim down certain spots
    Thanks! Did it smell?

This. You can also put lotion on your boobs and it'll wipe right off. I've done this several times in the spray tan booth.

    The airbrush tan is awesome!

  • I have. I liked it. The day you get it there is a smell but it washes off.

  • I've done it a few times.  Since you're nursing, I would cover your boobs.  I try to get my spray tan in the morning so I can wait until late that night to shower.  I've also waited until the next morning to shower before too.  The longer you wait, the better.  It does smell a little bit, but once you shower, you're good.  I also shower right before going and shave and exfoliate everywhere.

  • I guess I'll be the one to say I hate it and the smell makes me gag.  But I may be oddly sensitive to smells.  I feel like I can still smell people who've had it done days ago if I am standing right next to them or something.

  • I'm too cheap to pay for those fancy ones.  I got a Groupon for 5 of the bed spray tans.

I turned my feet orange.  Rut roh.
