For your consideration...

I am not sure if it this is for realz, but DH made the statement that if someone who lived on a planet 165 million light years from Earth looked through a high powered telescope at us, they would see dinosaurs walking around.

Let that marinate.

  • Science sounds really neat... I'm sad I can't understand it better.

  • The Andromeda Galaxy is the farthest object able to be seen by the naked human eye. It's seen as it was 2.5 million years ago.

  • Yeah, it pretty much made my night when he told me that tidbit. Now I'm trying to imagine ways to get to said imaginary planet at like ultra Mach warp speed so that I can see a dinosaur. But I'm sad because my limited knowledge of science says that we can't travel faster than the speed of light. And even if we could, it would still be 165 million lights units. Andplusalso, gas is almost $4 a gallon.

When I looks at the stars, I see Mufasa.

I see Mufasa all the time...it's my one of my cats' names... he is all kinds of orange fluffy awesomeness. Except the shedding.
