12 looooong weeks left! Wait, only 12 weeks left?!?

Am I the only one that feels this way?  One minute I am saying to myself, I still have 12 weeks to go, will this ever end?  The next I am flipping out and in a panic because I only have 12 weeks to go and feel like I have a million things to do. I guess I'm an emotional/hormonal mess!

I prefer to say 12 weeks or 3 months as compared to the number of days.  Especially since those are no longer in the triple digits. 

Sooo, I'm going to just be over here, with my head buried in the sand and pretend that I still have PLENTY of time to get things done.  Because...yeahhhhh...reality?  DO NOT WANT!!!

I have been doing the same thing. DH was very excited saying 12 more weeks, I just thought omg... Thats forever! Then I got an email from somewhere saying 84 days left, and I started freaking out telling DH we are never going to get everything done in time! 84 days... And thats not even a promise... She could come early! Poor DH was like 84 days/12 weeks... Same thing!

I feel the same way.  When it comes to how my body looks/feels I can't believe I still have 3 months to go.  When it comes to having everything ready & being mentally prepared for what is about to happen, I can't believe it's only 3 months!

I feel exactly the same way, but of course when I say that to anyone, they always then tell me that it might be less, might be more. I'm like yes, thank you I do know that I only have a 5 percent chance of the baby being born on my due date, but you know what I mean when I say that!

Part of me is so ready to meet this little girl, but other times I'm like OMG what did I get myself into?! Plus I feel like I still need so much stuff to be ready to bring her home! Does anyone already feel like they are set with all the things they need to bring home baby?

I'm at only 11 weeks!!! In haven't been home that much to start really making a list of everything we need. I've had all the baby showers I am going to have so now it's go time with getting stuff we really need.

Ummmm...NO!  This is what is stressing me out so much.  We are building a house right now and the plan was to be in before baby comes.  Well, as you probably know, construction never goes 'as planned' and we've had some weather delays so I am officially in panic mode.  I am not setting up a nursery just to move it a couple of weeks later.  I have already started packing up what I can around the house, but If we don't get moved the poor boy will be sleeping in a pack and play and his closet will be a cardboard box!  Mom of the year right here. I feel VERY unprepared.

It is so weird, mostly because I am already starting to feel super uncomfortable (physically) at only 28 weeks and just imagining what it will be like as we get into the 30s! BUT I do feel really happy that we have everything we basically need for getting baby home, except for a sheet on the crib and a changing pad. We've got a crib, a car seat, a stroller, plenty of newborn outfits and newborn diapers. I am confident by the time the baby shower happens in less than a month, we'll be much more prepared, as well!

I'm eager to be done with my job, so in that sense 12 weeks still seems like a long time.. however, I'm definitely not ready for the baby to be here yet! Still a lot to do and prepare for, especially as a FTM who has no real clue what I'm getting myself into.  Here we go!

I haven't bought one thing yet and we are still sleeping in the bedroom that will be the nursery after the construction on our master bedroom is completed....and that's no where on schedule either. I'm not panicking yet but I am starting to wonder how all of this is getting done.

Exactly this. I go back and forth with feeling like I have all the time in the world to holy crap we still have so much to do!

I have two kids already and *should * be totally prepared, right? I'm not. So not even close!

But at the same time, i'm already ready to be done being pregnant. It's freaking hot and I don't like it.

You all are making me think, what am I missing here? I really havnt done anything and I don't feel like there is too much to do. I'm not having a shower but assume I'll get gifts when she is born. Whatever I still need I'll send H to get when we return from the hospital. We live in a 1 bedroom apt so I don't have a nursery to decorate. Won't even be getting a crib since I figure we will move a few months after she is born.

I feel like 12 weeks, in the summer heat, is so long! Happy I'm not stressing...but should I be? Ha

I told DH last night that we only have 10 weeks left and he said that I need to go to 42 weeks because 12 sounds better than 10. Um no I'd rather not! 40 weeks sounds just about right to me.

Except for NB size diapers (we have size 1) we are all set. We have all the things we need, and other things like our swing will be reassembled, and the carseat installed much closer to my due date. I'm in a bit of a panic with time management for two kids, but just keep telling myself that lots of people have 2u2 and we will make it work.

"I can't believe I have three more months of this back/butt/hip/leg pain."

I'm excited to be able to say I only have 12 weeks left. It seems SOOO soon. But when I think about what was going on 12 weeks ago...I was 16 weeks, didn't know the sex yet, etc. That seems like a LONG time ago. That helps me put it into perspective. It is soon, but not THAT soon.

We have to finish our room so that we can move ds1 and ds2 to our old room. But that can't happen till we finish our new room which is no where near being done! I feel like 12 weeks will go so quick but then H says that's 3 months we will get it done.
I think I need to make a list of stuff that I need to buy And a list of what needs to get done.

I prefer not to think about it, I'm 28 weeks and our bathroom is being renovated which means the baby's room is more like a storage room If I think about how much I have left to do I start panicking, I have all the stuff but none of it is put together/organized

I am for sure stressing out about getting everything done in time. After working all day, I'm too exhausted to do much more than the usual upkeep of the house and literally every weekend through the end of July we have some stupid event or gathering to attend. I don't know how it will come together, but I can't wait to meet my baby!!

Lol I'm at 10 weeks and counting! Really kicking my butt into high gear here. Washing everything, getting the room together, buying a few items we didn't have, the only thing left to buy is bottles, but I'm waiting to see which pump I get b/c some you can pump right into the bottles. I tell people 10 weeks and then I'm like, she'll probably come a week early bc that's what the other two did. This weekend is Memorial Day, we leave for vacation June 6, and when we get back, I'll be down to 6.5 weeks which is crazy for me to think. So that's why I'm getting everything done now that I can, so be can enjoy summer a bit before she arrives.
