What do/will you use for your LO?

We are going on vacation/camping soon and the mosquitoes are always bad in Florida. Anyone had any luck with Avon Skin So Soft or Johnson & Johnson Baby creamy oil?

I heard baby mineral oil works.

Our pedi said absolutely no real repellant until after age 1. She did recommend skin so soft, and she said some people swear by Vicks on the ankles.

We didn't feel comfortable with bug spray until after 1 and then used the skin so soft. It has a different active ingredient.

Using California Baby but I am not the least bit convinced that it works

I'm not sure I will be using any just yet. However if LO is out in an area with lots of bugs I will keep her in long sleeves/pants and in either the stroller with the bug protector or in the pack n play with a sheet over top of it to keep bugs out. Maybe these would be good options for you too.
