I developed pretty severe ovarian hyperstimulation just after our IUI, but it's seemed to get a bit better over the last 2 or so weeks. At our ultrasound last week, the tech stated that she had never seen ovaries so huge. They're actually touching and pushing down on my uterus. Everyone seems shocked by this but glazes over it and says it should get better as the pregnancy progresses.
This morning, right after getting up, I started to have really bad pain on my right side. It felt like an ovarian cyst rupture. Makes sense since I have about a billion cysts. While painful, I wasn't too worried and parked it on the couch. That is until now. I got up for the first time since this morning and the pain is back in full swing. If it were a cyst, it should have ruptured and been over with. Now, I'm terrified that my ovary might have twisted. I'm honestly debating having DH come home from work and bring me to the ER.

Re: Update: finally home from ER
I don't have any advice, but it's definitely time to call your doctor. Sending you T & Ps. Keep us posted.

Good news is, it's not torsion. The blood flow to both ovaries was good. Bad news is multiple ovarian cysts are rupturing/have ruptured. On strict bedrest now until I can meet with the specialist. Pain has gone down significantly but is still there quite a bit. They did give me some Zofran though to help me at least keep fluids down and told me to rest easy.
Thank God for DH. He kept relatively calm and even held my barf bag. Now that's love.
Thanks for all the thoughts and well wishes. Hoping we're on the upswing now, but nobody seems to know since my HCG levels are through the roof and aggravating my gigantic ovaries. At least both babies are hanging in there and seem unphased.
(Edit:) Also, your DH is a trooper. Good catch
You obviously made it to
home, congrats! Your baby
