Eating fresh pineapple to help induce labor?

If eating pineapple induced labor I would have gone early with both my kids. But then again I didn't rub it on my skin or shove it up my hoo ha. Perhaps that is why it didn't work. Damn where was this thread with my other pregnancies!?

Now that I think about it I DID eat a lot of pineapple this pregnancy.  I'll have to let my OB know THAT's why DS came early.

Pineapple for everyone! Eat it, wear it, shove it up to your cervix. Maybe if all our baby daddies eat it, sex will actually induce labor.

I am pretty sure at least one of them has to be. You have to put them all on. Inducing labor cannot be easy, you know.

HEY! Now that is an idea!! Because we know sperm softens the cervix....and what dudes eat affects the way their sperm tastes....sooooo...double whammy win!!!!!

I've been shoving the whole thing up my hoo-ha 3x a day since I hit 37 weeks. No signs of labor yet but it's only been 2 days.

 

I'm still new at this but I'll share what i've learned so far: Put it in top down. Also, never put it in sideways.

Damn! I've just been putting the odd piece or two up there.  I used the canned kind.  SHOULD I SWITCH TO FREAH?!

My dd is currently eating pineapple....how does this affect my chances of going into labor soon? Most I'll get out of it is sloppy two year old pineapple kisses later.

My last pregnancy I craved pineapple and ate 6 in one week! No early labor or anything so I guess its not effective for me lol
