So maybe I'm dense, but I had no idea until yesterday that period poops were something other people dealt with.  I was so excited once I learned this.

I am not alone in the painful gas and sharting going on up in hurrr.

@MrsRexManning, I loled since I've been there.  Every single bite is delicious and you know the happiness will be short lived.  At least you didn't get sauce in your eye as well, though-- that always sucks.

@TrickyJedi same here.  Dairy does not like me but I was devouring cheese cubes and ice cream last week and suffering with the bad gas after because it tastes so good.

I have Lactaid but it doesn't really help.  I do try to be careful most of the time but last week I was like fuck it and ate what I wanted.

DH will hear me ripping it in the bathroom and just say "You had cheese at lunch, didn't you?" haha

Hahahah @TrickyJedi, DH doesn't have lactose issues but once in awhile something won't settle well.  We started eating healthier late last year so fast food or greasy food makes him really gassy.

He does the "lift one butt cheek from the couch and rip it" kind of fart.

My older brother used to leave nasty skid marks in his tighty whities so I am REALLY glad DH does not have that issue.  I still remember seeing random skid marked undies in the bathroom when I was in high school and being extremely grossed out.

@MrsWaffles, last week I had a white head right at the base of my nostril that I was trying to get with tweezers.  It was annoying.

Yesterday morning I went to give H a kiss goodbye on my way out the door. He was in the shower and I pulled the curtain back while he was cleaning his grundle. 

I've never felt more married.

Idk if it's just me, but every cycle at some point within a week after O'ing I get a bout (or two) of the absolute worst smelling gas imaginable. Last night it happened in the car on the way to a friend's housewarming party. I stayed in the car outside her house for a bit to try to "let it all out" before I went in.... When I came back to the car THREE HOURS LATER it still smelled in there. That's potency, friends.

@kath16, your "I never felt more married" line made me laugh but I completely understand.  One time DH gave me a kiss goodbye when I was on the toilet.  I told him not to do that again, not because I mind him in the bathroom with me but because it was just really really weird.

Wait... period poops are messy? What happens to you people? I get constipated like whoa during my period.

PCOS means I pluck chin hairs too... such fun.

@RinnyBee I don't know if it was your crack... but sometimes my crack actually cracks and I put coconut oil on it too! 

I still pee a little when I sneeze or cough since having DS. 

Despite using a Diva Cup and an overnight pad, I still mess my sheets at least once during my period :-/

haha! we laughed sooooo hard. we actually really needed the laugh :-)

my bathroom policies are much more strict than my H's. He could not care less if I sat in the bathroom with him and talked while he was on the toilet. I basically lock the door at all times and had to train him to not barge in.

@NittanyMama, I go between bad constipation to the flood gates being open so that's where it gets messy.  Painful gas is mixed in there, too.

I gotta say, I am really thankful for my iPad and/or iPhone when I have bad poops.  I watch Youtube videos, read RadarOnline, etc.  Sometimes I sit there longer just because I can.

I'm on my progesterone suppositories again so that means I'm constantly hungry and angry.  Hangry, really.  And it feels like a have a persistent mild yeast infection and it's so disgusting.  C and I call it "progestropoon." 

Bet you all needed to know that!

This has to be a real thing because the same thing happened to me last night. I couldn't even believe myself. I kept trying to blame it on the dog, but H wasn't buying it.

@NittanyMama - I get super constipated during my period too! In fact half the time I can't tell if I'm having bad period cramps, or I just really need to take massive poo! It's inconvenient as hell.

My TMI is that now that I'm using a Diva Cup, I still feel a bit weird about taking it out and replacing it in public. I've gotten into the habit of doing so while in the shower, even if I'm not actually showering I'll stand in it with curtains drawn. I haven't psycho-analyzed myself to figure out why this is. But it's gotten to the point where when AF is visiting, I tend to work my schedule around how often I need to be home just to remove and replace the damn thing. I'm not usually this neurotic.

Just dealt with those wonderfully nasty period poops. I shower more than I need to the week of my period because of the mess, having a baby in the house has changed my life, I now know all about wipes and the wonders they do for you.  

My husband and I got into a whoa fight yesterday about money. I was being the crazy bitch because of fore mentioned period so I needed to apologize. I walked in on him while he was taking a stinky poo and hugged him while he sat there on the toilet. Really weird and gross but hey marriage does that to a person. He didn't mind. I think he was happy I realized how mean I was being and it gave him a good laugh.

@britsknits11, I usually warn DH when I'm PMSing or say things like "Welp, shark week is on its way...." so he knows that any irrational behavior really is due to hormones.  I got irrationally upset with him a few days ago but after I calmed down things were fine and I later apologized (we were in public when I got pissed) for being dumb.

Hormones fuck me over, ya'll.  It's not a good thing.

Maybe it's just me, but when I have bad gas it doesn't smell typically.  It sure does when I have the shits in the bathroom, but if its random gas it doesn't stink.

DH is hit or miss.  Sometimes it's not smelly, other times my eyes are burning.

Speaking of period poops I am also a sufferer of the beer shits. It's rather horrible. I feel like a gross man when it happens.... Perhaps I should drink less beer?

Personally, the most embarrassing thing about having gas on my period is when a fart bubble goes up my vagina. Makes a weird noise when it comes back out. >.<;

My post loss periods are like a fucking murder scene.  Yesterday I had to wipe blood up from several different places near the toilet and I had a tampon in.  WTAF.

Also @oursecretelopement, we changed our dogs food recently (just a different flavor of the same brand) and they have both had terrible gas.  Loki was so bad the other day that I had to air out my office a bit before getting back to work.

Dog farts are smellier than people farts.  They have both also shit on the floor in the past few weeks and that smell does not leave the house easily.

Febreeze is my Fefriend.

Ugh period poops are the worst! Especially when you think you are done, wash your hands and BOOM! You are right back on the toilet for more:(

@LuvBird29, I HATE that.  You stand up and before your panties are back on your ass everything settles and it's right back down.

I farted in the living room this morning.  Then I went and got ds up from his nap and fed him.  30 mins later we went into the living room and I thought he had pooped....nope still my fart.  Ugh!

I was just touching up my nails and I have to pee now.  GDI I hate when that happens.  THIS is why I don't do my own nails.  Shellac means they are dry super fast, doing it myself means a mess and longer dry time.

I'm hoping that by typing this they'll dry faster....
