Talk to me about chemical pregnancies and mostly talk me off the ledge. BETA 2 UPDATE!

So as if the 2ww wasn't he'll enough now I'm in beta wait hell. Got my first beta yesterday at 67. Not bad but not as high as I wanted to see. So of course I'm dwelling because I've been getting faint positives since Friday morning so just confused how it could only be in the 60's. THEN last night I literally dream that I had a CM. I wake up freaked out and run to test. Not to mention most of the tugging/ pulling in my uterus and spotting I was having along with the bouts of nausea have really subsided in the last two days. Which freaks me out too. I'm attaching my latest pee test and I can't say the line looks any darker than yesterday, but at least it doesn't look lighter?? For those who may have had chemicals, did you really see hcg/ tests get lighter in 24 hours? I have my beta tomorrow and I know only that can really tell me anything, but I think I'm even more stressed now Knowing I am pregnant and the fear of losing it, compared to if I had just gotten a BFN .... IF sucks!

TTC since 11/11. 10 months natural= 10 BFN 8/12 First appt with RE 4 semen anaylsis later 1.9 million count, 21% motility and very poor morphology Me- bloodwork, 2 ultrasounds, HSG exam =I'm fine / 3 months of testosterone treatments = 3 more BFN DH bloodwork after 3 months treatment= no change/  

RE says we can continue with hormone treatment for MIF, RE says we can try IUI but doesn't expect the results to be good based on severe MIF/ 

 IVFw/ICSI Cycle #1 1/11/13 Antagonist Protocol IVF Cycle #1 Canceled due to poor response and lead follicle problems. 1/18/13 started Provera to get body back to baseline / take a break to re-evaluate and recoop finances

IVFw/ICSI Cycle #2 4/13/14 Supressed with Estrace for 7 days. / Started injections 4/22/14. Baseline -0 follicles  Started 75iu menapur/150iu follistim, morning and evening injections   ER- 8 Retrieved, 7M, 7F, 5/8 transferred2 Good 8 and 9 cell Embryos. Beta #1 at 11dp3dt  67! I'm pregnant! Beta #2 174! Ultrasound scheduled 6/6/14

Ultrasound on 6/6 confirmed a singleton pregnancy and a heartbeat, although my iradic breathing would allow us to get the rate.  Second ultrasound measured great and got to hear he heartbeat!! 176 bpm Graduating to my OBGYN with our next appointment with them being 7/23/14

    With my CP my test got darker and then started to get lighter until I got a BFN. But my beta was never 67 my highest was 44. I would have been elated if my first beta would have been 67 instead of 18

    I had 2 chemical pregnancies.  My first I started bleeding well before the beta, my UPT was +, but was lightening.  My first beta was 43.  My second CP I started heavy bleeding days before my beta, had + upt, but they lightened and were negative the day of my beta, as was my beta itself.

    For what it worth I think you was still well in the game :)  Fingers crossed.

    Todays definitely looks darker to me! Think about it this way, if you started getting a faint positive on Friday with a FRER, which picks up HCG at 15mIU (thought I've had it pick up even lower numbers confirmed by beta), then say your HcG was even 20 on Friday morning (with a faint positive). 48 hours later (Sunday morning) it would be 40. 24 hours later (the morning of your beta), it would be around 60, even with perfect doubling.

    I know it's impossible not to worry, but math helps me reason with myself sometimes :) Hopefully it helps to ease your mind a bit too! Try not to worry too much, and I hope your next beta can ease your mind a bit!

    Genetic testing = normal, DNA Frag = excellent

    With my cp, my first beta at 13dpIUI was in the 40's, I started bleeding that day. Next beta was 23. I didn't bother with hpts after first beta because I knew they would only drive me crazy.

    TTC since July 2009. Dx MFI & LPD. 
    IUI#1&2&3 (2011 & 2012) BFN
    IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)
    IUI#5 BFN (April 2013)
    IVF w/ICSI Oct. 2, 2012 - 13R, 11M, 7F, 1 frozen blast 4BB grade - - - FET Nov 15, 2013
    BFP! Beta 1:104 @ 10dp6dt, Beta 2:178 @ 12dp6dt,  beta 3:366 @ 14dp6dt
    Saw heartbeat twice before missed M/C at 8w3d on 12/27/13, missing my little angel boy

    The line today is absolutely darker!!!! My lines stopped getting darker, immediately started getting lighter and I started testing negative on a digital. For me, yes it happened that fast. My lines never got as dark as yours

    Me (32) DOR, elevated NK Cells/ 2 copies of MTHFR mutation/ MH (35) azoo/high DFI   (TTC#1 since 2009)

    IVFs#1-4: (4/10-2/12) all BFN

    Surprise Bfp (9/11) - c/p

    DS IUI#1-2 (9/12, 10/12) - BFN

    DS IVF: (11/12) - BFN

    DE/DS IVF#1: (10/13) - 2 day 3 embies transferred-BFFN

    FET of 2 day 6 blasts: (12/13) - c/p

    DE/DS IVF #2: (4/14) - 1 day 5 blast transferred...BFFN...again.

    FET 5/14: 1 day 5 hatching blast transferred...another BFFN

    Repeat SHG 6/14-normal / Endometrial Receptivity Array biopsy 7/14-Receptive Uterus

    New RE, additional testing reveals elevated NK Cells

    FET of 1 day 5 blast (RE recommends transferring 1 due to elevated NK cells) with lovenox, steroids & intralipids in October

    This is why I love you ladies, you can always talk me down.. lol.

    I'm so sorry for those of you who have experienced miscarraige.. I wouldnt wish that on my worst enemy.  But I really appreciate you sharing your stories with me. Trying to remain positive and just grateful; we've made it this far! 

    I really am trying to stay as even keel as possible as to not put added stress on my body right now....as we all know that's near impossible. I'll update with new beta numbers tomorrow.

    I def think the line is getting darker, I was really paranoid this go around too so I poas'd everyday until beta and then two more times before my second and they kept getting darker, I'm preg with twins so that's why my levels were so high and my tests got dark pretty quickly but yours def look like they are getting darker! Congrats! :-) ill be looking for an update and praying your LO sticks really good!

    I know, I literally went and bought more tests yesterday after my beta results call so I could test today and tomorrow morning! I've tested every morning since Thursday(thursday was a negative, Friday is when I got my first squinter).. I feel like  POAS is the only control I have in this whole thing!  Congrats on Twins! So Amazing, We trasnferred two and would love both to stick! best of luck throughout your pregnancy!

    The most recent one is definitely darker. I know it is difficulty with loss on the brain but I would try to wait until your next beta results. ((Hugs))

    Hang in there! I had a beta of 35 and it was a chemical. Yours is almost double mine! 66 isn't bad at all! I think ideally they want anyhhting over 50! I have the pics disabled so I can't see your HPT but I just wnated to mention that when I was going through this, I ONLY googled POSTIIVE LOW BETA STORIES. Stress isn't good for baby! Try only focusing on positive low betas! (honestly yours isn't even TOO low!) hang in there girl!

                 Beta #1 12dpo - 164 & progesterone - 89!, Beta #2 16 dpo - 1189, 5w3d - u/s shows TWINS!

    IVF #1 October 2012 - Retrieved 8 eggs, 5 fertilized, 10/13/2012 Transferred 3 embryos - 8, 5, and 4 cells,     the other 2 eggs did not survive freezing, 10/26/2012 BFP!! Beta: 11, 10/26/12 Beta: 2 = Chemical Pregnancy
    IVF #2 - March 2014 - Mini IVF - Retrieved 5 eggs, 4 fertilized, 4 Frosties - 8, 9, 7, and 7 cells all in good condition. 
    IVF #3 - May 2014 - Mini IVF - Retrieved 2 eggs, 2 fertilized, 2 Frosties - 6 and 8 in good condition. 
    FET #1 - September 2014 - Transferred 2 embryos - both 8 cells - BFN
    FET#2 - November 2014 - Transferred 2 embryos - BFN
    FET#3 - February 2014

    BIG congratulations!  I am so happy to see this and thrilled for you!! 

    I have my 2nd beta tomorrow - and then I think we will get our u/s scheduled - so it sounds like we are on similar schedules.

    Hope you are able to keep yourself busy so the next 2 weeks fly by!!

    3 BFN rounds Clomid + IUI
    IVF 1 - BFN, 1 Frozen
    IVF 2 - BFN, 5 Frozen
    FET 1 - BFP!!! EDD 1/24/15 Beta 1: 700, Beta 2: 2,156; 1st U/S 6w3d: HB 118bpm, 2nd U/S 9w3d: HB 171bpm

    TTC since 11/11. 10 months natural= 10 BFN 8/12 First appt with RE 4 semen anaylsis later 1.9 million count, 21% motility and very poor morphology Me- bloodwork, 2 ultrasounds, HSG exam =I'm fine / 3 months of testosterone treatments = 3 more BFN DH bloodwork after 3 months treatment= no change/  

    RE says we can continue with hormone treatment for MIF, RE says we can try IUI but doesn't expect the results to be good based on severe MIF/ 

     IVFw/ICSI Cycle #1 1/11/13 Antagonist Protocol IVF Cycle #1 Canceled due to poor response and lead follicle problems. 1/18/13 started Provera to get body back to baseline / take a break to re-evaluate and recoop finances

    IVFw/ICSI Cycle #2 4/13/14 Supressed with Estrace for 7 days. / Started injections 4/22/14. Baseline -0 follicles  Started 75iu menapur/150iu follistim, morning and evening injections   ER- 8 Retrieved, 7M, 7F, 5/8 transferred2 Good 8 and 9 cell Embryos. Beta #1 at 11dp3dt  67! I'm pregnant! Beta #2 174! Ultrasound scheduled 6/6/14

    Ultrasound on 6/6 confirmed a singleton pregnancy and a heartbeat, although my iradic breathing would allow us to get the rate.  Second ultrasound measured great and got to hear he heartbeat!! 176 bpm Graduating to my OBGYN with our next appointment with them being 7/23/14

    Thanks @Amyou06 - still waiting for the call... seriously, going out of my mind waiting for the phone to ring.  Tues they called at 11:20... and I think with my priors they always called in the afternoon... of course those were all negative.  

    So NOW I am thinking - what if they give good news in the morning and bad news in the afternoon?  UGH!

    Will keep you posted...

    @Lady2010  Don't think like that lol.. that's the crazy IF side of you talking.. lol trust me I know.. I have to shut mine down all the time. I'm sure your numbers are going to be great. you first Beta was Amazing!  hang in there, they are probably just busy or out to lunch! :)

    OMG - just got the call... 2156!!!!  Our ultrasound is scheduled for June 3rd...

    Thank goodness my best friend is going to be here next Tues - Fri... while our plan is not to tell her it will be a VERY good distraction for me.  (unless she figures it out - she does know all about the fert treatments - we just want to try to wait till 1st tri to tell anyone IRL)

    THANK YOU for all your positive thoughts.  I am going to continue to lurk / post if appropriate here until I have my u/s.
