Okay... im a very impatient person especially now. We've been ttc for 18 months and finally got with an 'RE. After 45 days of follies not big enough, ladt friday 5/9 I was given the okay to trigger. Its been 10 days since I triggered. .. my back is killing me, my breasts r sore (though they have been since I've taken the shot) and I feel crampy. Every time I pee I have this weird cramp like feeling in my belly on left side. I know I can test friday but again I am impatient... I've read ovudril can stay in system 7-14 days. I really dont want to get a false positive and psych muself up but friday seems like a million years away. Any experiences with ovidril and testing? Should I try or should I wait? I need reassurance either way... thanks guys!

Re: need advice about ovidril
I'm a "test out the trigger" kind of gal. I took mine on Tuesday last week. I don't test every.single.day like some ladies, but I start testing daily at 7 days past trigger. I'm confident I'll still have HCG in my body at that time so testing every day after will give me an accurate picture of what's going on (i.e. the line will get lighter and eventually vanish or - should I finally get lucky this cycle - get darker with a BFP).
I recommend going to Walmart and stocking up on their 88 cent tests. They work better than Wondfos (internet cheapies) which sometimes have terrible evap lines. But I've never had a faulty test from Wally World, oddly enough. Anyway, it helps me stay sane but some women would rather just forget about it until the day they're allowed to test (14 DPO).
Good luck to you! Those trigger shots can be real mind fuckers.
