Hello! TTC after a M/C help?

Hello everyone! My fiance (wedding is August 1 this year) and I decided to start TTC next month. We are so excited but I can't help wonder 'what if'? I had a miscarriage in July. I found out I was pregnant July 4th last year and then two weeks later I was going through a miscarriage. I know likelihood of another one is slim but I can't help wonder what happened and what I can do to try to prevent another one. Does anyone have any suggestions, kind words, anything to help me?

Congrats on your upcoming wedding. And I am sorry for your loss. It can be frightening to think about TTC again after a loss. Have you talked to your OB (or other doc) about your plans? She might be able to offer some guidance. The good news is that the odds are in your favor that you will have a healthy pregnancy - having a miscarriage does not mean you'll have another, even though it is scary. I would recommend visiting the TTCAL board and lurking there. I suspect they'll have a lot of good insight that might help you along the way. Good luck!

I had a Mmc a year ago this past February at 11 1/2 weeks.

When we were cleared we TTC again and I am now 35 weeks pregnant.

There is not much you can do to prevent mc but try not to stress that can make it harder for you to conceive.

I so know that is hard to do. We got pregnant the first time right away. This time it was 6 months. We are older I'm 40 so I was stressing about that as well.

The one month I ended up relaxing is when we became pregnant.

First trimester if was a nervous wreck. That is to be expected. You will worry. I will not lie to you.

Talk to your Dr but I would just enjoy TTC
