Sore on the edges?

I had a c-section just over 2 weeks ago. It seemed to be healing really well but today I've been horribly sore on the left side, right at the edge of the incision. It's not red but my husband says it looks more bruised than it has before. Should I make an appointment to see my OB? It's this sore feeling I haven't felt since I was a few days post surgery. The kind of sore where when you stand up, it knocks the wind out of you for a second.

A nurse told me the ends are where the metal clips are that help hold you open during surgery, and those areas are typically the most/longest painful areas. Also, one side is usually worse, depending on whether your doc is right or left handed!
