What is your child OBSESSED with?

Mine is positively obsessed with trucks. Trains and planes are a close second.

We were in Wal-Mart this morning and he flipped his shit because I wouldn't let him stay in the garden center to climb on all the lawnmowers.

He's even started to watch truck pulls on tv with my husband. It's the most red neck thing ive ever seen. He friggin loves it though.
Kid has issues!
Im also pretty sure everything he owns has a truck on it.

Her cozy truck. She doesn't push it, she doesn't let us push it. She just wants to sit in it. I let her eat breakfast in it outside this morning.

Also she is obsessed with "helping" by which she means using the dustpan to scatter my nice piles of swept dirt around, refusing to let me put her toys away, and putting colors in with the whites when I do laundry. I just try to roll with it and tell her she's a good helper.

She's obsessed with these four creatures she goes to bed with - big bear, little bear, baby bear, and yellow bear. She notices if even one is missing and yells for it from her crib. The other day we couldn't find baby bear, so we turned the lights off before putting her in hoping she wouldn't notice. But no, she gropes for the darn things in the dark I think. Suddenly, in the middle of the night, we hear "baby baa! baby baa missing" coming from the monitor. Not sure how we're going to take her entire zoo with us when we go traveling shortly.

Balls. Anywhere we go, he sees someone playing a ball, he wants it. If they happen to be a kid and they start to play together, we have to tear him physically away from the ball when it's time and there's usually a huge fit.

Watching YouTube videos; we have a Sesame Street playlist he enjoys and begs for 5 times a day.

Cleaning the catbox with Daddy. Daddy lets him help pour the litter and deodorizer so he asks to do it at least twice a day. This doesn't bother me because it gets my husband to clean the box regularly

Dump trucks/construction equipment/ tractors. He somehow can hear a dump truck coming from a quarter mile down the road. And he insists that you pick him up to see it pass the house.
He loves to sit on his potty fully dressed.
Oh, and he is OBSESSED with a John Deere toy catalog he got. We might order another cheap item to get a backup catalog.
He's also OBSESSED with telling everyone about how Kuma pooped in the Jeep. Kuma passed away almost 2 months ago, and the story was a few weeks before he passed. Anytime someone/something reminds him of the Jeep, he tells the story. Luckily my dad thought it was funny, since it is his Jeep. (Kuma's a dog)

His toy lawn mower. He pushes it around the house non-stop. He loves to chase the dogs with it and run over peoples feet. He has to take it everywhere with him...outside...upstairs...the basement...in-laws. Where ever he goes so must the lawn mower. The in-laws forgot to bring it home the other day and Logan went BSC when he couldn't find it so they had to go home and bring it back the same night.

Mira loves Elmo and asks to watch the same episode (Elmo baa sheep). It's Elmo the musical.
Also she is nuts for trains! She also must have her monkey and bunny for bedtime and anywhere she goes.

Elmo, her sheep wubbanub, cars, trains, bubble guppies and books.

Also cats. My parents are visiting and they brought their 2 cats. Ava is obsessed with them. For the last year one of her most favorite things is her black cat webkinz. One of my parents cats is black like her stuffed kitty so she won't leave this cat alone. Of course she'd be obsessed with the one kind of animal that we do NOT have (and we don't plan on getting any either).

Oh and she is also obsessed with shoes and hats.

Do you happen to have the Potty Elmo? My parents brought her one and I've never seen these before. He came with a potty and he asks to be put on the potty. Even makes a noise when he "pees"! You have to pull his shorts down and everything. It's both incredibly odd and hilarious.

The bubble guppies. Jeebus with the guppies every day. And my shoes. She will sometimes scream at me out in public for me to take my shoes off so she can put them on because I let her do that at home. Leaving the house takes forever because she will run to put on MY shoes and I have to wrestle her to put hers on.

Trains, planes, "diggers" and keys.

He is constantly looking for our keys and demanding them and pretty much only plays with his trucks and trains and airplanes. We live within earshot of a railroad and he flips out every time he hears the train. Also, we pass a construction site with heavy equipment everyday going in and out of our neighborhood and he has recently gone crazy over the "diggers" there!
