phone free inspired by ITK

Ok not really inspired, but a good title. Jo was napping on my lap on a comforter on the floor. When she woke up, she spit up everywhere. So I took the toys off and promptly went to go put it in the wash. Dh can't stand spit up, it will make him gag. I missed my cell phone. It is now in the wash in our front loader that I can't unlock the door. 

I'll be doing the rice trick later. In the mean time, I guess I'm going phone free...

It doesn't work. Dh got this set used from a coworker without tAlking to me. Then it sat in my kitchen for half a year with the door closed. Can you tell I love our washer? Good news my phone is like $30 on amazon.

It is currently in lovely rice spa treatment. Thank goodness for FB messenger. I'll be using that till dh gets home. He may need to bring me some wine. I am so over today......

It is, but our laundry has a door. It will be kept closed as she gets older so she can't crawl into it. It's off the kitchen, soon when I can outsmart the baby gate, I'll be baby gatng off the kitchen as well.

My biggest problem will probably be the toilet. Dh likes to leave the seat up. I told him she is pulling up on everything and loves to watch me spray diapers.

A is obsessed with the plunger of all things. :-&

I caught her with it in the toilet yesterday after she peed.

Wait, DS can get the laundry closet doors open. Should I be worried? He can't actually close himself inside the washer or dryer b/c of the way the doors are made, and they won't start with the doors open, so I didn't think I needed to be too concerned.

I washed my phone once, and I took it apart, stuck it in a hot car outside, and problem solved.

Some days I'm glad I have an old fashioned washer and dryer that don't lock.
