What are you fine ladies up to today?

This is the first weekend I have no plans. So just cleaning, meal planning, grocery shopping, and reading.

It's cooler and rainy right now so we are watching Paw Patrol.

I am a nervous wreck today. The stomach bug is going around DH's work and he came home feeling crappy yesterday. He is still sleeping. (However, if truth be told he would sleep the whole day if we let him). I slept downstairs. Reese has been tired this AM, and I am not sure what to do. I don't know if her hemoglobin level is low, and if it IS are they going to just say to wait until Monday and check it then-which is an hour drive, and then decide if she needs a transfusion. Or if her routine plus no naps and being out of the house is getting to her and it is a normal 3 year old lazy Saturday. Or if her immunity levels are low and she is catching something. (like DH's maybe stomach bug or something else). She has been up since about 5:30 though--and we have watched Toy Story 3 and Little Mermaid so far, and played on the leap pad. I just don't know.

We're hanging out at home while dh works. I'm trying to rearrange the kid's room like @mbenit4‌ suggested last week and then get some shopping for the week done.

Dh just told me he told our neighbors I'd be at their party later today. We've never met them and they invited us to their four year old and fourteen year old's birthday party. Complete with clothing sizes on the invite. So I get to go to a party where I know no one at all. Thanks, dh.

We slept until 9 today, but now I'm kind of irritated that my day is thrown off.  

I also thought my husband had to work today but he doesn't, so that's nice.  We'll probably just do some things around the house today.  It's pretty out, but there is a freaking pollen alert like always so I don't know if we should stay in or what.  

Hoping it's just normal lazy Saturday stuff and nothing more, @starearedkid.

I'm sorry you are so stressed. No naps and a busy day would throw ours off the next day I think. Hope it's just that @Starearedkid‌

My parents took both kids out for the morning. This has never happened before. I wanted to go back to bed, but instead I worked out and made a healthyish breakfast. Now my plan is to thoroughly clean upstairs. Must.put.phone.down.

The ante has been upped to 9 kids at the sleepover tonight, when the 2 other cousins caught wind of it & begged to come too. The plus side is that I now have 2 12yo girls & 2 11yo boys who will hopefully entertain each other w/o conflict from the others.....the down side is both my 12 year old girls are either on their periods or about to start, so any conflict that does ensue will be melodramatic meltdown worthy. Jesus take the wheel.

So I'm gonna need you ladies to take one for the team & do all the drinking for me today/tonight, k?

Feeling really out of it this morning.  H and I haven't been getting along and he actually slept in the spare bedroom the last two nights.  Really hoping we can talk things out soon, though that's looking doubtful with the way work has been for him lately (6am-11pm) 

Cleaning the kitchen, DS's room, and a dump run is how my day is looking so far.  I already want a beer.

Thanks everyone! She IS off the couch and playing now. It is just hard to figure out what is "normal"---like she was at her in home babysitter on Thursday with no nap; and then MIL on Friday with no nap. Yesterday morning she woke up too early and was really crabby too. I just don't know. 

On the plus side it is REALLY nice having a calm kid, but still i worry. 

DH and I are supposed to go to a wedding tonight. And we are having her 3 friends over for a birthday party tomorrow---. However with that, we fully intend to completely minimize the risk of germs and that it isn't very long so it will be completely outside---except for bathrooms It is nice out tomorrow as well.

Oh, and here is DS enjoying the car cart solo, with his wolverine pajama shirt, his favorite swim trunks, and mismatched socks. He did ask if dd could drive the car cart with him. I didn't see anyone giving me the evil eye for my single kid in the double cart.

My husband left a little while with ds.  They are going to the bank, the park, the store, and will pick up lunch.  I know I should be doing something productive but it is so rare that I'm home alone that I'm kind of stunned and confused about what I should be doing.

Hey everybody! DS and I just got back from running a few errands. I'm irked bc I was suppose to go to a different lab today for my 3rd beta draw (the lab at my dr's office is closed on Saturdays), and apparently the lab has no record of the order that the nurse specifically called me about to tell me that she faxed to them. Wtf.

And of course the only way to get in touch with someone in my dr's office is to call the emergency on call service and have the on call dr call me back. I should just wait and go into the lab at my dr office on monday, right?Ugh...iI'm irrationally annoyed about this, but I also dont want to bother the on call dr with lost paperwork issues.
