I refuse to make a list because it makes me to anxious. Also DH says lists make me turbo and we are trying to avoid that. We have everything we need if he were to come tomorrow so I am not worried. There are additional things I would like to get but I am not going to stress over it. Wouldn't mind a clean house but my mom and sister are coming the day before he comes so I am sure they will help. So yes just trying to stay calm and relaxed, no lists.
Reading all these lists made my bp go up a bit so I am going to stop reading them
A lot lol
Pack our hospital bag
Pack dd bag for when we are at hospital
Take dd clothes out of nursery and into her room
And did put ds clothes on hangers in nursery
Finish his nursery which should be an hour job just curtains and decorations left
Clean clean clean ahhhhh never ending
We still need to install baby car seat base….but that's about it. Everything is already in the car bag wise. We got the travel toiletries at Target to pack the bag with. I say that because it's the only store that actually carried the small amounts of the same toiletries we use on a daily basis. I have super sensitive skin and hair and stuff so that was important to me.
Has anyone been reading the birth stories and noticing that LOs are coming 35-37 weeks? :-h
The latest story I read is that after the 37-week check with no dilation, contractions started the next day. I thought I had time. I need to get myself together.
I still have a looong list but I believe we have all the basics if baby decides to come earlier. We still have to decide on a name, we narrowed it down to three choices but haven't make a decision. DH has to set up PnP, install car seat base and her dresser is arriving tomorrow. All her clothes are ready, I have her coming home outfit and pretty much everything for my stay at the hospital. I just have to throw everything in a bag when the time comes.
There are so many things I need but have to wait until AFTER baby is born, like nursing bras (so I know what size to buy), bottles (because I want to buy ones that fit our breast pump) but we won't be able to get our free breast pump until after the baby is born. Sign baby up for CHIP (PA health insurance) etc. That is what is stressing me out. All these things I have to wait
We just had our shower yesterday so we have lots to do! Tons of organizing, laundry and sterilizing! Also hang closet doors, put up blinds and new light fixture in the nursery. Have to put together pNp, RnP, bouncer. We have five weeks until our due date so hopefully LO hangs out for a bit so I can get all this stuff done!
