Where to get his hair cut?

While Em doesn't have a ton of hair, the hair he does have is getting long and scraggly. My mom will not get off my back about getting it cut, so I guess it's time to do it.

My SIL takes her LO to a specialty kids barber, but it's 45 min away, and I don't feel like making that drive.

If you've had your LO'd hair cut already, where did you take them?

    We just took him to Great Clips. The woman was great with him and they gave us a little keepsake card with a lock of his hair and the date and whatnot.

    We went to great clips also. We have gone twice now and had a great experience both times!

    We took the clippers and used #1 on the sides and back and #2 on the top. It actually looks great!

    We went to a kids snip and cut but it was very close.

    He doesn't look like he needs a cut to me? Maybe just trim the fly aways yourself? I did that for awhile until he had hair long enough to cut.

    He doesn't look like he needs a cut to me? Maybe just trim the fly aways yourself? I did that for awhile until he had hair long enough to cut. 

    I did the same. But I'm following this thread cuz J needs a cut badly!

    OP- Do you think he needs his hair cut? From what I read, it sounds like you're having it cut because of your mother.

    I don't think from the front that his hair looks too long but how about the back? That's where DS needs a cut. He was born with a party in the back and is been there ever since.

    Sorry they are sideways. We are taking him to a kid's place on his birthday.

    You're right, I think he really just needs a trim, but I'm afraid to do it and mess it up. Kind of like @Trish625‌ , it's totally a party in the back. It's also freakishly long behind his ears. I'm also not sure if he needs it cut on top. It just look so scraggly, I'm bot sure what to do with it.

    We went to Disney world. :). I have no idea where he will get his hair cut going forward.

    I just took DS to my hairdresser.

    I just went to Cost Cutters today.  I'll probably go back tomorrow because I wasn't too happy with it.  She was so worried about not cutting off his curls that she just didn't do what I wanted.

    We just went to Disney world today! She had baby mullet so they only trimmed up the back. They blew bubbles and had toys. Maybe you could bring your own and just go to a regular place?

    I took DS to Snip-Its for his first hair cut. The lady was very quick and it came out well. Then he went to Smart Style at WalMart and it came out ok. Found a couple long pieces on the sides a few days later.
