A two-year old with a cold?
Thinking back... A 6-mo old with a cold, a12-mo old with a cold, an 18-mo old with a cold... Seriously, the older DS gets, the more I lean to the OAD side of the fence. Why would I want to go back to only being able to suck snot out of my baby's nose? Now I can help him blow his nose and make him chicken soup.
Each age comes with new challenges but overall the older he gets the easier he is to care for. I really have no desire to go backwards!
Just my OAD thoughts for the day.

An 8 year old with a cold still sucks, hah.  She'll wake at night when she can't breathe.  BUT it's MUCH easier than a toddler or baby with a cold by farrrrrr.  I hope he feels better!

Thanks. Last night was pretty rough since he woke a few times, but today he's in pretty good spirits, and took a normal length nap! We'll survive.

Even though I do not have many complaints from the last 16 months of his life there were still enough bad days for me to never want to do it again! 

Oof, that sounds rough! I'm glad he's feeling better!

omg yes! the other day she was eating and got food everywhere, and I threw a piece of paper towel her way and told her to clean with that - AND SHE DID!!! you guys, that is crazy, right?

I know what's worse than that!

A 1 year old with a upper respiratory infection who screams and cries during his breathing treatments. Thank God he no longer wheezes when he gets a cold *knocks on wood*

Agreed, the booger sucker thingy was soooo gross! LOL. Then they get so old and just off and blow their noses themselves! Sorry for all the folks with sick LOs hope they feel better soon.
