IUI delays

So, I got AF on 5/5 and did CD3 testing on 5/7 with Clomid on 5/7-5/11. Went for CD11 testing yesterday, they wanted me to come back today. So I did. Lining is OK, but slightly thin (though they didn't have me start Estrace, which I have before). Follicles are good (1 on right at 19, 1 on left at 18, 1 or 2 smaller on each side also). But based on blood work, instead of triggering tonight I am now not triggering until tomorrow night. Obviously I trust the doc that this will give me the best chances - more mature follicles, better lining, etc. But then I can't help but worry I'm going to "miss" my window and that these delays are going to mean it's not going to work or that my body isn't responding properly. Does anyone have any experience with this? I *think* on one of my cycles last time I had to come back on CD12 after CD11 testing but I don't remember for sure and don't know which cycle it was. Pretty much just needed to vent and hopefully get some reassurance. Thanks ladies!

I had this happen soooo many times with my IUIs. They ended up having me come in for monitoring like an IVF patient because my ovaries were "temperamental." If you were going to miss your window, your LH would have started to rise- that happened to me twice. But, if I remember correctly, my RE wanted follicles in the 20ish range for clomid cycles and the high teens for injectables. I think your cycle sounds perfect!

I agree with your cycle sounding perfect. This also has happened to me. In fact my recent new addition had a delayed iui and i had one follie that was 19. I too was told to trigger the following day. GL!!

That's the whole reason they do monitoring, to choose the correct day. Your body doesn't do perfect 28 day cycles. I think I had IUIs on day 17 bc my body is slow. GL!!

With my BFP cycle, we had to keep pushing back the trigger date b/c I wasn't responding as quickly. It was right around Christmas, the only day of the year my RE's office is closed so I was absolutely terrified we'd miss the window. Totally broke down when talking with the nurse, but obviously everything worked out. It was the cycle we definitely had the most issues with. My IUI was on CD 20.  Good luck!

Hang in there! They know what they are doing even though all the testing and if makes you question everything. Good luck!
