Shutterfly apology ((baby congrats mentioned, not mine))

This week I received two emails from Shutterfly "congratulating" me on the birth of my baby. Needless to say I was pretty annoyed that I was not only being congratulated on something I did not have but being congratulated on something that I am struggling to even obtain. I was pleasantly surprised to see the below email arrive in my inbox earlier apologizing for their mistake. I was really appreciative that 1. They recognized it as a sensitive issue and 2. Apologized if it upset me (it did. ). Now that I am knee deep in this battle, I'll gladly accept their apology and appreciate their sensitivity to such a heart breaking situation that we find ourselves in. Thanks Shutterfly :

I got the same thing! I was pissed at the first one, but felt actually a lot better when they sent the apology.  I just got finished writing them an email thanking them for apologizing.

I got the same e-mail and have received two apology e-mails. One early this morning and the same one again tonight.

Me too.  I got that same exactly e-mail.  At first, I was thinking WTF, that's pretty bold.  But it didn't really upset me.  I just deleted the e-mail.  I will say tho, I was pretty impressed with their apology e-mail.  I got once yesterday morning, and then one last night.

I also received the e-mail in a junkier e-mail that I don't check quite as often. I saw it on a friend's FB wall first so I didn't open it, and I deleted the apology e-mail before I realized I should have checked it just to see what they had to say and if they were going to give any discounts or coupons. Dang, for the second part it looks like.

I had no idea about the Huffington Post thing @NariaDreaming !! I'm going to have to go look for that one...

@NariaDreaming I'm with you on this. I was gutted when I got their email and their apology was bull.
