Shonda Rimes, you crazy lady! I did not see that (near) ending coming. Yay for Richard and Mer...and yay for putting Alex where he belongs.

I definitely got choked up when Mer put Cristina in the taxi. Hope she makes a cameo next season, if it's the last season.

Don't like the new sister/daughter

Like that Alex was invited to the board, but not that he is going to have to fight for it

Like that there was no fight with kepnar and Avery's mother about her being pregnant

REALLY liked that none of the main characters were almost killed, or killed this season finale.  I was honestly waiting for Christina to kick the bucket at any moment.  I read that she wasn't going to be killed off, but I didn't trust.

OK, so.

If the Richard/Ellis child is older than Mer, then they have some serious retcon to do. 

In the episode when Richard was recounting the story of the AIDS patient back in the early 80s, the show made it look like it was the first time he and Ellis worked together.  And Mer was at least 4 or 5 at the time.

I figure someone would've known.  I mean, how could Ellis have hidden that at that point in her career?  As I understand it, they moved to Boston shortly after Ellis divorced Thatcher.  Maybe she was pregnant then?  But at that time,  I highly doubt someone wouldn't have said anything, even to Ellis Grey.

Yeah I mean I don't really remember them doing that more than a few times so it's weird they tried to make that their "thing".

Did any one else see the shot of the premie baby and think, "that's the biggest premie baby ever."  Seriously, that kid was huge.

I liked the dancing.

Thought the half-sister/Webber's daughter thing was lame.

It would be weird if Leah became a nurse...she'd have to go back to school. You can't just "be" a nurse because you went to medical school. It's very different...

Leah is off the show next year, so I guess we'll just have to speculate.
