My poor kitty...I'm devastated

We adopted the most beautiful, gentle, well behaved Norwegian Forest Cat from the Humane Society 4 years ago. Long story short, we've had 3 weeks of vet visits with no improvement. Today the vet neurologist said he has a brain tumor. I am so sad, and I feel terrible for my kitty. I feel like there's more I should have done or noticed sooner, but it's inoperable, so it wouldn't have really made a difference. Tomorrow we will take him to be put to sleep. I don't even know why I'm posting. I'm just so sad that my best animal friend is sick and leaving us. He truly has been a wonderful pet.

I'm sorry. It's always so sad to lose a pet but, to me, even worse when it's sudden.

I'm so sorry my heart aches for you. I have two fur babies one of which i have had for 9 years. If anything happened to him i would be devastated...

I'm glad your going to end the suffering though. Your heart is in the right place

Oh poor kitty, at least she will not suffer. I know its hard but your heart is in the right place and its the best decision.

I'm sorry, thinking of you. I still cried like a baby when my cat was put to sleep when she was crazy old and sick...it is hard when it is unexpected like you are experiencing.
