Anyone else's kid hamming it up with fake injuries?

DS has taken to faking minor injuries so we'll kiss and console him. For instance, he likes doing up buckles, like on his booster seat, and one time he pinched his finger on it. Now practically every time he buckles it, he'll say "Ow, finger!!" and want us to kiss it, even though he hasn't actually pinched himself. Of course we go along with it. He gets lots of hugs and kisses and attention, anyway, so I think it's kinda funny/weird that he started doing this. I guess I didn't think he had the reasoning power yet to understand about stretching the truth to get what he wants. Anyone else's LO doing this?

Yep! If he does something and it hurts, even a little he says "ow" I give him a kiss where it hurt and then he does it over and over. He also fake falls, too.

DD does pratfalls to make us laugh - like, really exaggerated tripping and falling on the floor.  I have no idea where she got the idea!
